When on the island, check this place out. Great variety of baked goods & everything is delicious! Grosse Ile is a small town, and I definitely prefer to come support this great small business instead of going to Starbucks in Kroger. That’s not to say you’re sacrificing quality. But the biggest reason I like coming here is the people who work here. The couple who owns it is so sweet, and they really brighten my day every time I come in to chat and get some great bakery food.

This is a good bakery to stop at for fresh donuts if you live on or are visitng the Island. They have a nice selection of breads, donuts and rolls. I can recommend the French Creullers and the Walnut Kifli. I am still brushing off the powdered sugar as I type this. Not the best I have been to but pretty darn good. Worth stopping if you are in the area and have a sweet tooth.
