L.J. Maasdam built a towering sculpture of rusty wagon wheels, outside of Lynnville, Iowa, when he was 90 years old. Located off S. 48th Ave. about three miles before Lynnville, the road was hard to find. We ended up driving past it, stopped and asked a nearby farmer, who led us back to the right road. It can’t be seen from the road. It’s a little off the beaten path but it was really awesome to see and there is a picnic table there to sit and enjoy a meal if the weathers nice.
