I called around to get quotes to have my parents’ yard done. They had removed some large pine trees, and had huge bare spots where the trees had been. It was an eyesore!
I called this place and spoke to Nick. He had someone out to the property the same day to evaluate. Other places had tried to tell me grass seed wouldn’t take and I needed to spend over $ 7,000 for sod. Nick answered my questions and assured me the yard would look great. I paid for a spring seeding and the yearly weed control.
It has been just two months, and the yard already looks amazing. My parents are both very happy with the lack of weeds and the new grass growth. My dad isn’t so thrilled that the grass is growing so much faster though and needing to be mowed every few days. :)
The price was reasonable, they’re quick to get the job done, and I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. My only complaint is that this was a surprise for my parents for Mother’s Day, and I asked that an invoice not be sent to their house (didn’t want them to know what I spent). I knew my mom would be upset if she knew what I spent on her, and I had already paid for the services in advance. About a week after the first lawn treatment, my mom called me rather upset and said she got the invoice in the mail… And she proceeded to scold me like I was 5 years old again. Oh well. It was worth it because she and my dad are both happy with their lawn now.

The friendly and professional Lawn Doctor staff, did a customized analysis of our lawn and created a care plan for us. Then they came out and provided a spring weed and feed for our lawn. I had several questions regarding the health of our lawn, when to over-​seed, aeration, and more. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.
Following the initial visit, the owner called me to personally discuss the quote and answer any other questions I had. He matched prices on some of his competitors spring specials and explained their lawn care plan for our property.
When we received our first invoice, they included a hand written personal note, thanking us for choosing them to service our property. You just don’t get this kind of customer service and appreciation very often… It’s wonderful to find a local business we can rely on and trust to do what they say they will! Our lawn looks 100% better after just the initial treatment. I can’t wait to see how beautiful and lush it will be at the end of the season!
