Hollywood Nails

I am not a fan of this nail salon, but my mother on the other hand loves it. First of all the place looks slightly run down. It does not look clean in there enough for me. I know they may do excellent work, but from just walking in I was not impressed, and the only reason I let them do my nails is because my mother was adement about giving this place so try.
The floor does not look like it has been clean and the place just looks dingey and old; like its not taken care of. What I really didn’t like was that their nail colors were in a box. They couldn’t take the time to showcase them. I thought that was highly unprofessional. Also, my mother and I were the only two customers in the shop and there were two technicians; the woman started on my mother, but the man who I believe is the manager, couldn’t begin on me because he was in the middle of a TV show. WOW! I was so shocked when he told me he would start on my nails after his show ended.
He started on my nails after about five minutes. Because of the way the place looked, I was worried about the cleanliness of the stations, surprisingly everything looked clean. I came in for a pink and white fill, and thought he knew what he was doing; however, I was wrong. I asked for the powder and polish to be a thin coat and he made it very thick. I told him that they were too thick and he was trying to file them down. They were still thick, but I had gotten tired of being there, so I let it go.
I’m basing this review on my experience; however, my mother likes how her nails look once done. She also says that they need to work on the cleanliness of the building and presenting themselves more professional. But she really likes Vivian doing her nails, so if you decide to go here ask for Vivian.
I am not recommending this place; however, you may have a better experience than me.
