I still can’t believe a place like this exists in NWI. Dynamite has an awesome selection of vintage and used gear for great prices. From Gibson to Fender to Martin you can expect every great brand here. The best part about this place is every instrument has a story.
What originally brought me in was a setup on a newly purchased guitar. While the places in town were advertising two week turnaround I was blown away when Billy O offered to do mine on the spot if I wanted to wait. I waited, browsed some of the coolest gear and a few minutes later my axe was ready and was perfect. 6 months later and it’s still perfect by the way.
I went in a second time to pick up a bigger amp and was given a great deal on a VOX amp that made my guitar sound fantastic. Even though they have a no refund on used gear, they offered to help out if I had any issues with the amp. I didn’t and the amp is great.
I just brought in a Fender that I pieced together for a setup. Billy took the time to call and check into the guitar before continuing with the setup. While the parts weren’t a perfect match, Billy made em work and work well. The guitar now has a perfect setup and is a joy to play. Billy is the best and I will continue to take my gear here for as long as I can. Someday I’m gonna score a les paul as well. I’ve been to Nashville and seen gruhn guitar which is an epic vintage guitar shop. It’s amazing that there’s something close in NWI and one that features such a great guitar tech as well.
