Shane’s Rib Shack

I’ve never dined in at Shane’s, but have eaten a considerable amount of takeout, and it’s always superb. I know for most folks around here it’s about Southern Pit, however Shane’s easily holds it own. Great chicken BBQ and fantastic potato salad will always keep me ordering more!

Delicious food, great atmosphere although the music was a bit loud. All in all, not bad, would go back again.

My boyfriend and I dined in for Lunch this last Saturday. My immediate impression when I walked in was that it’s bigger inside than I thought and very clean. The décor was cool too. They have booths and tables.
While dining the manager came by out table just to introduce himself and see if we needs anything. I feel like I have intuitions on people as most women do. I felt like this was a good guy and wants to do right by people.
When we were almost done eating we heard a loud noise and a boy about age 10 that uses braces to walk had a brace to give out on him right in front center of everyone. I have kids so this broke my heart to see because I know boys can get embarrassed plus this boy was disabled and couldn’t help it that his brace gave out. The manager was the first to get to him and helped him up. Everyone else just looked at the boy lying there. The boy’s mother was thankful. I witnessed the manager give the boy a shirt when no one else was looking. The manager didn’t make a scene about it which is good because the boy was already embarrassed. There are still good people in this world and the manager at this restaurant proved it.
Back to the food… I had the pork plate. It was more food than I could eat and delicious. I’m a BBQ critic but I would recommend this and use the spicy sauce.
