Milltowne Gourmet

Unilocal team, This is the best lunch restaurant in Griffin but it’s not showing up in searches. I think this is because it is listed as «specialty foods» instead of a restaurant. Can you fix this? These folks should get credit for the great food and service they provide!
Oh, and I had the mill towne burger special today and it was great!

One of the few healthy places to grab a quick bite in Griffin. All the sandwiches are delicious and that strawberry salad is addicting. The location has a classic look that fits in with the historic atmosphere of downtown Griffin.

I can’t live without the strawberry and chicken salad! If I could eat it everyday I would! And the baked goods are definitely made with love. I love their homemade balsamic dressing also. When I move away I’ll definitely miss this place

My sister took me here a few days ago for lunch and I absolutely enjoyed it. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and kettle chips. I might sound like a pig, but it was so good I could have ate another one. My sister had the tuna salad sandwich and it too was yummy. If you get a chance this place is definitely worth a try. Also, their desserts are super yummy. We tried the lemon bar and some German chocolate bar. We split them, but I ended up with the German chocolate. Haha. Can’t wait for my next lunch there!

Love this place. Great atmosphere. I have never had anything I didn’t like. The strawberry salad with a scoop of chicken salad & Balsamic vinegar is amazing. Highly recommend.

Amazing little place– visited here with my mom and husband for lunch today. We all got some variation of grilled cheese sandwiches (ALL incredible) and strawberry salad and potato salad. We took some pumpkin and lemon bars to go, too. I love this place– totally personable waitstaff and cute ambience. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Griffin!

I work across the street. I can’t get enough of the mixed green salad with two scoops of their house made tuna-​salad and Parmesan peppercorn dressing.

Best spinach strawberry salad! Cute restaurant run by owner. We live downtown and love getting lunch here. They are not open for dinner so the menu is salads and sandwiches. Due to limited hours, we don’t get to visit as much as we would like. When there are events downtown they do get busy.

Traveling this week and was told to check this place out. I got the special (strawberry salad (I got no blue cheese and some shredded cheddar instead) with some Greek like pasta salad with warm grilled chicken on top. It was sooo good! The chicken was marinated in something delicious, the house-​made balsamic dressing was delicious!!! I bought a pint to take home. They also have a dessert case for you to gaze into. You must try the salted caramel brownie. My only complaint is I would have liked a different kind of cheese to put on my salad (goat, feta, cheddar) were the options. I don’t care for goat or feta (although I’m sure it’s a delicious combination) so I settled for cheddar; which wasn’t bad, but perhaps some asiago? I would also like to say that they can get a little busy. It looked like there we’re 2 waitresses for the dining room and the owner (I’m assuming here) came out to ring people up because they got backed up. I will DEFINITELY return if back in the area.

I love a good salad and this place has one, the «Strawberry Salad» is awesome (I like mine with the chicken salad and balsamic)!
