Griffith’s Drive In

This is my favorite place to eat when I am home from college. The chili cheeseburger and curly fries are so good. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is awesome too. Most of them know me by name and the lady at the front always remembers my order. They always make me feel so welcomed.

Absolutely amazing! From the root beer to the burgers you cannot go wrong with this place. They have an old fashioned drive in, where you can dine in your car or you can dine in with them. Good place for a big party if they are not too packed. Great place for kids, especially if they are interested in cars. The family that owns it are well know and very friendly. A must go to if you are in the area! It is also very affordable. :)

THEY ARE OPEN on sunday! I dont know why Unilocal says its closed, but they are open for business. So far so good. Atmosphere is excellent and service is good. Cant wait for the fajitas!!! Awesome!

Great food & great people. I went to Griffith’s with a friend who grew up going to this local favorite. The staff, owner & food prep folks have all been in this establishment for a long time according to my friend. They know there customers by name & take pride in the food they prepare and serve. It’s not fancy, but it’s good.

Hamburgers come with chili and are awesome. Everything I’ve ever gotten, from Hot Dogs to Coleslaw is good. This is a great local place.

Decent burgers but chicken sandwich is even better. Nothing to write home about but good for a lunch break. Food is fresh but takes a few minutes to come out.

I like this place. Service is good and the food is tasty. I wish they had a better location in town. They would do great!

Food is ok, but you can tell they are tight on portion control. The burger is more bun than meat and struggles to taste like anything more than a bun. Every time we go, everyone gets exactly 12 tots…12! It is a nice alternative to some other fast food restaurants, but it is hard to justify the cost when you leave hungry. Also, for some reason they always have used wheelchairs for sale in the dining room, which is kind of weird and gross.

I went here for lunch. I choose to sit outside in the car, so that was kind cool and unusual nowadays. The food tasted good, BUT my burger was not hot or even warm. The fries were freshly made, but I felt the burger had sat for a while. I also thought it was a bit spendy. $ 8 for a regular sized burger, fries, and a sweet tea. Nothing too special here, but definitely a place to visit every once in a while.

Griffith’s was exclusively a drive-​in, but now it is both a drive-​in and an eat-​inside restaurant. So you can drive in, order, eat and pay without ever leaving your car! Or, you can go inside, which is particularly advantageous when it’s cold/​hot outside.
They have the BEST sweet tea in town, and pellet ice to boot (you have to ask for the pellet ice). You must order sweet tea, that is not an option.
The Double Burger is one of my favorites, it’s got 2 patties with cheese, thousand island, pickles and lettuce. Moist and delicious! The Willieburger is also good, it’s a small basic patty melt that literally melts in your mouth! They have crinkle cut fries as well as tater tots.
You can also get chili dogs here, slaw dogs, scramble dogs, etc. There is usually some homemade cake available, and they make a mean milkshake! (Biscuits and gravy are among the breakfast selections.)
Satisfying diner food at it’s BEST, it’s clean and the people are friendly which makes it even better!
