This restaurant isnt one of my favorites. Although it has a great eating environment and a beautiful restaurant, the food isnt very great. Soggy chips, runny and not-so-tasteful salsa. I havent tried a few other of their food items, meybe they will be better.

Tacos are some of the best I have had. The cheese dip they have is way good. Great service and a clean place to eat.

Was in town shopping at the outlets and decided to check out Voodoo Taco. It was a small place, but needed more atmosphere. Perhaps needing a tv or two. The taco I got was AMAZING, the brisket taco with jalapeño. My only gripe was the food to price ratio(more price than food). If the taco was a tad cheaper, I would have given the place 5 stars

Will only give it 2 stars because food is good. Now, the caveat to that is… Help is not very friendly like they could care less to be here. Always a long wait for food. Which was strange today as they are out of almost everything. They were out of the first 4 or 5 items we tried to order. A taco place… Out of salsa?!? Wtf. No pork, no desserts, no queso for chips, and no salsa. It’s a shame this place has such poor management. I really used to like this place.

I’ve been to voodoo taco before and there chips and queso has always been very good. Except today at this location at NEX the queso was cold and has no toppings, I asked the cashier to get me another. She brought another one out and it was cold, I am very disappointed in the NEX location Voodoo tacos because they don’t live up to the aksarben location standards.

Five tables not bussed from previous customers. Floor dirty, didn’t appear it had been swept nor mopped for years. Pop/fountain area complete mess i.e. water dripping around on counter surrounding it as well as around on floor. Straw wrappers. Used napkins on floor. All this before we ordered! This explains why it was pretty empty and customers were eating outside. Bathrooms? Use your imagination — I’ll not go into detail here. Cannot begin to convey how disappointing the food was. Tacos were pricey: a taco with a side of beans was $ 8.79. The size of the taco was little. The size of a Street Taco. One was not enough — yet, it was: it was awful so at least I didn’t have another to throw away. The taco shell was limp and broke apart when picked up. No flavor to write home about, or crave so that you want to return. Nope. I really think that this restaurant makes a case for Unilocal to provide the opportunity for Unilocalers to give ZEROSTARS.

So good! I had the blackened chicken nachos and they were very delicious. Cooked to order so it does take a bit longer to get your food, but it is worth the extra few minutes wait.

The avocado taco was so delicious!!! The gal forgot my chipotle ranch though! The wait was ridiculously long(wish they could’ve brought out my chips and salsa first or something, sheesh!!) considering the restaurant wasn’t at all busy at the time. The trash cans overflowing and tables were a mess. Staff was friendly but, seemingly lacking in ambition. Maybe the other locations are better.

Meh… Nothing special at all!!! Nice staff. Avacado taco sucked but Baja was ok… Unimpressed! But I’m from Cleveland Ohio where we have Barrio in comparison, which is no comparison to this place.

Just another over priced trendy/hipster taco place. The one taco I got was good, just not $ 5 worth of good.

Tuesday afternoon and they are completely out of hot sauce? That is what makes Voodoo Taco. The Aksarben location is my favorite, still.

I like this place. Now it’s simple and small inside which surprised me. I got the Baja shrimp taco and loved it. What I wish was that it was bigger for the price but still worth it. Great chips and queso too.

I really wanted to like Voodoo Taco but I am sorely unimpressed. 1) The wait. Came here around 3PM on a Saturday and there was not a single table open. We awkwardly stood around until people began clearing from the dining area. A restaurant being this packed on rather unusual dining hours must mean they’re serving up great food, right? … wrong. 2) Ordered the«Cajun Chicken Salad». It was a couple of pieces of bland chicken and grilled peppers(?) on some wilted lettuce. Their guacamole was just okay as well. Maybe I will give Voodoo Taco another shot and order something else on the menu. The prices and quality of their food didn’t seem to match up for me this time around.

I felt the place deserved a 3 because the portion size to price didn’t satisfy me. One small taco for over $ 5. I also didn’t care for flies swarming me(inside) while I ate. My wife, however, felt it deserved a 5. She went twice in a week & loved the grilled shrimp taco. We both agreed the chips & guac were great.

Probably the slowest causal dining place I’ve ever been to, especially considering the huge number of employees on staff at 330 in the afternoon. We waited for over 30 minutes to place our order and a few people had to get refunded because they had ordered and waited over 45 minutes to get any food. Flies were buzzing all over the place, even the person taking the orders commented on it. Overall cleanliness, as others have commented, leaves a lot to be desired. Trash was everywhere, tables were not clean, and there were crushed chips everywhere outside. The food was good, but a tad overpriced considering the portions sizing. Excellent options on sauces for those who enjoy heat and we liked the voodoo dust on the tortilla chips. At the price point I wish the chips would have been closer to tasting more homemade. Overall the food was good; service was so-so and cleanliness was deplorable. We won’t go back considering other options in the Omaha area that compete at this price point with better sevice and atmosphere.

The service is terrible, the place is filthy, the portions are insignificant and the prices are way overboard: $ 5 for a single, wet, cold tortilla taco, with a tiny load of meat and a mountain of cheese… better buy a Subway, its a few steps from there, or just cross the freeway, theres a Dennys or the food at the Flying J its by far superior. I was charged $ 30 for 3 tacos, 3 drinks and 2 chip orders… I could have 2 full meals for half the price at Hardees. I could say that, Taco bell, its more mexican than this place, given that, I’m mexican!

The food was not my issue… although I found it to be slop in a paper boat. The price was not my issue… as it is what it is. No doubt they pay big rent. I found the $ 4.95 taco to be very UNDERWHELMING. The service was ok for a fast food ‘delivered to your table’ mall presentation. THEISSUE I HADWASTHEFILTHOFTHEPLACE. I FELTLIKE I WASEATINGIN A THIRDWORLDCOUNTRY. I can’t imagine the Health Department of Gretna knows what the area looks like… as it was disgusting. I guess if you wanted to upscale your fast food Mexican food experience, you could go to Taco Bell. Taco Bell is a Michelin Five Star compared to THIS location for Voodoo Taco. But…then again… it was at a regional mall filled with clients who stood in line for the food. What do I know?

This is the second Voodoo taco location I have taken my appetite to. I was pleasantly surprised with the larger portions they gave in their tacos compared to the Aksarben location. Two tacos were more than enough for my apetite. I love the fried avocado in the vegetarian tacos I ordered. Tacos are a bit pricey, Yes… but you got to keep in mind there DOES come a price with quality ingredients. You’re not sauntering into a Taco Bell people. With that being said, the tacos are probably the best tacos I have had in a long time. Very unique flavors. I just wish they didn’t hand out teaspoon size salsa cups. I don’t like having to walk all the way back to the counter to wait in line to ask for a decent proportion of sauces. I was disappointed they didn’t have the quality tap beer selection they do in the Aksarben location. Not the end of the world though. This place is a bit crowded, and I have to agree with Dave B. The tables are shaky and hard to eat on. There was a line wrapping almost around half the restaurant and it is hard to hear your own conversation. There are too few tables for the amount of people that come here. I saw strangers sitting with strangers just to eat their food because there is hardly any space. 4 stars. Why? Smart location, artistic and creative interior, amazing food and nice servers. I love the spicy sauces. I wish I knew their secret recipes for these mind blowing salsas. :) Despite the hectic atmosphere, I will be back next time I do another outlet mall shopping trip. The food is too tasty to not want to return.

Tasty tiny tacos. The accountants have got the food costs under control here as prices are 25% too high. Good flavor and excellent individual sauces Volume on the music was 25% too high; consistent with the prices. Memo to owners: Music volume and selection is not for the staff. You are not Jimmy John’s. And why are the tables always wobbly?

I’m not sure what I’ve heard before or the draw for this place is, but I have little desire to go back. I’ve been here twice and on both occasions the meal and customer service wasn’t worth the price. First, while it may seem like the prices are great here, that’s because it’s per taco. The average ‘Murican is gonna eat at least two themselves so you can basically double the price of everything. We went hungry and paid the price of a high end restaurant which Voodoo Taco is not. Second, the customer service is seriously lacking. This last time we went in, surprised at the few number of people on a Sunday night, we had to wait for the girl taking orders to count out her tips(mind you it was an hour before closing time), then once she’d figured out how much cash she had coming to her, she pawned us off on someone else to take our order. Once we sat down it took ten minutes(reminder: it wasn’t busy) for people, who came in after us, to get their chips and queso when we’d ordered the same thing too. We had to hunt down someone else who acted like we were trying to pull a fast one on them until we produced a receipt. So much for«customer is always right». When the tacos finally did come, they were nothing special and felt like they’d been waiting for a while and not warm anymore. Third, the place was a wreck. Rows of lights not turned on(not necessary to have a romantic setting), soda area was trashed, there was food diaspora all over the floor, and the restroom was dirty. So, am I or my family going back… smeh, I doubt it very much. I think there’s cheaper, better chain fast food nearby…
