I go to The Beanery on a regular basis and I have to say their customer service and coffee are the best around! They are much better than some of the bigger coffee chains, like Scooters, that are trying to come into town. Ever since the new owner has taken over here, it’s become the best coffee in town. The staff remember my order, my name, and are so kind! I tell all my friends to get coffee at The Beanery!

Had a cup of black light roast coffee. Was very smooth. Place was cozy and clean. Also shared a big a peanut butter cookie that was just ok. Parents enjoyed a mocha and a dark roast coffee with cream/sugar, and both really enjoyed theirs.

We used to love their iced coffe latte but recently they changed their«formula» for the worse — bascially they just pour regular coffee over tons of ice and mix in a little half & half. As expected, it’s very watery and tasteless. For nearly 4 bucks, you should be able to get a real latte with iced espresso and milk.

Love this place! I prefer to frequent locally owned businesses and these guys make it easy. Great coffee and always service with a smile.

Just stopped at The Beanery for the first time on my way back into town from Lincoln. It wasn’t too busy, and they were ready for me to order as soon as I walked in the door. Went for a blended coffee of the day to cool off(the salted caramel was great!). My drink was made quickly before I even had a chance to check the place out! Will be coming back for more!

The Beanery is a convenient on your way to I-80 stop for some coffee. You can also get some food too, like croissants with sausage and stuff inside if you like to eat that kinds of stuff. I usually get a mocha from here. It’s pretty tasty, however, if you are used to anything from the chains like Starbucks, you may not like the Beanery. It definitely has a different flavor to it. Good, but different. I do like this little coffee shop. Mostly because I’m pretty sure there’s only one of them and also because they do make a very consistent coffee. The only thing is, it’s a little out of the way.

As of now, this is the only bona fide coffee place in Gretna. It’s located right off Hwy 6⁄31 on the south end of town. It has a drive-thru and a fairly decent array of specialty coffees and some lighter food items, like sandwiches, paninis, pastries, etc. Although I am a card-carrying«gold» member at SBUX, the closest one isn’t close enough to be convenient(about eight miles or so) to home. I wish this place had some sort of punch card for free coffee, but they currently do not. For what it’s worth, this place does a pretty good job of brewing and serving coffee. The service is always friendly, and the drive-thru is normally speedy. I live about a mile from The Beanery, so it is okay in my book!
