Gretna Costume

This is a small costume shop located in Gretna. They have the basics– a good selection of kid’s costumes and a decent selection of adult costumes and wigs. The selling point of this place is that they are open and selling costumes year round. Other places on the Westbank tend to only have costumes during Halloween.
The prices are pretty typical, but you have way more of a selection at a place like Spirit, or even Party City. The staff did seem very helpful and asked me if I was looking for something particular as soon as I walked in.
The store front itself is on Lafayette, but you can only park and enter in the back of the building. A little weird and somewhat inconvenient, but not a huge deal. Just something worth nothing.
One thing I would suggest to the store owners– the front of your store gets a lot of sun. This has caused the packaging on some of the costumes, that have been hanging there a while, to fade. Since the packages are clear, it leads a customer to believe that maybe the costume has been sun faded as well. It also made me believe the costumes have been there a really long time and that didn’t motivate me to buy them. Might I suggest window tinting on the front windows of the store. That way, costume packages won’t fade and customers won’t be discouraged from purchasing perfectly good items.
