Checked out 5 different tree removal services in the SE Portland area. Most of them were quoting me between $ 1800 and $ 2800 for the removal. Called R & H Tree Service and was quoted $ 900 which included removing the four 50 foot alders in the backyard, grinding the stumps, and removal of all the wood. Now thats a great price. I was planning on watching them take it down but was distracted for the first 15 minutes. When I looked outside they had the whole thing down in 22 minutes. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone needing a tree removal for an affordable price. They are a bit difficult to get a hold of sometimes because I would assume they are very busy.
