Midnight Roundup

Have been here twice for the food only, very nice layout inside, the staff were friendly both times but you could tell not really experienced. Both times I ordered burgers, the burgers were put together well but both times I specifically stated I wanted them cooked rare to medium rare.. both times they were cooked well done.. so 2 stars for not knowing how to cook a ground beef patty. Also they were not busy and it was mid afternoon on week days.. maybe the cooks are better on the weekends, busy times

Flat out 5 stars! My husband and I had the BEST experience here last night.
1^st star: The bar is clean and welcoming.
2^nd star: Plenty of seating on COMFORTABLE seats.
3^rd star: A lot to entertain you. 2 pool tables, 6 video poker machines, foos ball table, a hunting video game and a giant jenga game. They also have a DJ but last night there was a fabulous live band.
4^th star: The menu is diverse, priced very well and the food is really good!
And the 5^th and final star goes to their AMAZING STAFF. My husband and I don’t drink so we expect to be the lowest priority at bars. That was NOT the case last night. We were treated like we were the only people in the packed bar. These gals were amazing and we tipped them well. To the point our waitress brought our tab back to us and asked if we had made a mistake when we tipped her $ 40 on a $ 34 tab. My husband told her that the tip was correct because we like to reward servers who do their job and do it very well.
I recommend midnight Roundup completely and without hesitation. Go there on a Friday night about 8 o’clock get a table listen to the band enjoy your evening.

Actually a pretty nice venue. We went to hear a country band play on a Friday night. While the dancing was limited and the food was typical bar food, I like the vibe of the place. Great acoustics, good beer selection, and a very friendly staff made this an overall good experience. I bet if there are a bunch of people there it gets really fun.

This place is grotty. Not much else to say. Gresham gets a bad rap and it’s places like this that give it such. Midnight Roundup rounds up the skeeziest, nasty folks around Gresham and they proceed to collectively hang out until the early AM. Seeing Gresham PD here is common. Take my advice, add a little extra gas to your car and head into Portland.

We like to regularly come here since it is very close to our home. Great food, great mix drinks (Malibu barbie– one of their special, my absolute favorite!), great music! Friday and Saturdays they have live music which I’ve always witnessed to be great. Lots and lots of ppl on the weekend. Be prepared for a lot of older drunk women dancing with each other… lol. There are 2 pool tables, 1 right in the middle of everything, which sucks but oh well. A dance floor, super small stage, a projector for when they play the big games, and a fabulous happy hour menu! Never drink and drive in the first place, but know that ppl are continually pulled over around here because the cop station is literally 3 min down the road. Parking lot I wish was more lit up. I couldn’t tell you how many times we’ve rode over a wheel stop in the middle of the lot haha. But other then that great place!

I don’t come here Friday and Saturday nights, we like this place on a weeknight to grab dinner and a few beers. We have been here three times now, each time great food and great service.

Kick ass bartenders and they are good looking too there so nice and they take the time to talk to you love it here I’m so comeing back

We’ve been there twice, both visits during Happy Hour at about 4 in the afternoon. Never a good sign when the bartender is also your server, which was the case for both visits and he was the only person working — WHY??? The first time we waited about 10 minutes for a menu and then another 10 for him to return to take our order and yet another 10 for the food to arrive. There were only 3 tables seated and it seemed pretty quiet so I don’t really know why there was such a delay. The second visit was a few weeks later — we thought the slow service on the previous visit was just because the restaurant was fairly new — and after 15 minutes he finally shouted across the bar and asked if we needed menus. This time there were about 5 – 6 tables filled. 10 more minutes passed for the menus, another 10 for the ice water. We tried to kill time by playing video poker, but the machines were TIGHT and with no server in sight we left without ordering because at that point we were losing money by being there. Sad thing is, it could be a great place because the food is wonderful but they appear to be severely understaffed. Don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon. Midnight Roundup is ADA friendly and offers adequate seating for all body types or special needs. Bottom line is, great food, fun atmosphere, agonizingly slow service and tight poker machines.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon shortly after this venue opened, and we were charmed by the atmosphere and pleasantly surprised at the quality of food served. The staff is friendly and the owner and manager each came out and introduced themselves. A very down-​home, neighborhood country feel.
I think it’s fantastic that there’s finally a place in Gresham to go hear live country music. The Portland metro area has much talent to offer, and few venues to go hear local country bands play. As to the remark one of the prior posts mentioned about the drink prices going up when the band started playing – happy hour ended.
I really hope this place makes it. Again, good food, good owner and staff, and live local music. It just doesn’t get much better than that!

Easy place for a quick lunch with great food and accessible WI-​FI. I still need to eat dinner here but sounds like the service, entertainment, and food are great all day long.

I love, love Midnight Roundup! Super friendly staff (love bartender Jess!), and a kick-​ass DJ every Thursday and now Saturday nights (DJ Cutt). They greatly expanded their dance floor from when they first opened. They do line dance lessons every Thursday night at 8, and some Friday’s and Saturdays. Smaller and more laid-​back than Dukes. Both are great depending what you’re in the mood for!
