I’ve found it difficult to balance being a working mom and giving a shit about my appearance. I used to be all cute and shiny, but now I settle for meh. Recently I found myself with some time for… myself. So I opted to get my hair did. I like being a ginger, and like to regingerfy my auburn locks with some brassy color now and again. This a gamble, as anyone who has gone red knows. You can turn out magenta. Or orange. Or worse (don’t even ask about the one time I colored my own hair with a hue called chai spice). But the owner of Iris nailed it. To the wall. I was born a redhead, but this is so much better. It’s natural looking, but not faded out. It pops without overwhelming my already fair complexion. And she gave me a nice cut too. I’m a fan. I’ll be back next time I’ve got time.

First of all, it STINKS like chemicals inside the salon. Second, the appointment that I booked with Jen 2 months prior was cancelled. I only found out about that when I actually went for my appointment. I was told she tried to contact me via email or phone, bs! Love these excuses, so good luck serving other «happy customers» if your unfriendly staff can actually do it.

When I first moved to Gresham, I looked long and hard for a good hair salon, and I saw this salon while driving through downtown Gresham. I checked out their website online and was delighted to find that you can book all your appointments online. I booked a hair appointment with Christine, and left very satisified with the results. I’m pretty picky about stylists, so I was happily surprised to find her and this salon. Christine also does my waxing, and again, she does not disappoint. She and the rest of the staff are great and friendly. I have become a regular customer for all my hair styling and waxing needs.

I just recently moved to the Gresham area from downtown Portland and was looking for a salon near my fiancé’s house. Decided to give this place a try. I was very impressed. I had waxing and a peel done by Kristi who did a great job. Definitely less painful (the waxing) than the last place I had tried in the NW. Then I got a haircut with Christine and she also did a great job – fast yet thorough and she knows what she is doing. I will definitely become a regular customer. :) Also the pricing is very reasonable.

I went to Iris Salon while in the area visiting my mother. I found them on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. Loved the online appintment scheduling and that they post their prices so I knew exactly what I would be charged when I got there. Jennifer did a fantastic job on my haircut. I love it. She was great at making sure she was doing what I wanted, double checking length and making suggestions as she went along. A really nice experience. If I lived closer I’d go to her from now on but since I don’t I at least want to recommend her to all my fellow Unilocalers. Great salon and Jennifer did a fantastic cut! Go to Iris Salon in Gresham!

I went to Kristi at Iris Salon for a full leg wax and had a great experience. The salon itself is very cute and had a great friendly atmosphere right off the bat. The room we were in was very nice and private, it was decorated nice and had a very cozy feeling while still feeling very high end. Kristi is an amazing esthetician. Besides having great results from the wax, she is very friendly and personable and is someone that makes you feel comfortable right away. We talked through the whole service, which makes it go by fast and actually fun to go get your legs waxed. Kristi is someone who makes you look forward to your return visits, and I will definitely be going back to her every month!

I was looking for a new salon for color and cut within walking distance of my place. Stopped by Iris Salon and met Tara. Love that Iris is home to independent stylists sharing a very attractive and comfortable space. I’m thrilled with the results!
