A great experience from start to finish. When I called to schedule as a new patient, I was told that the time of day I needed was booked out for over 8 weeks. Katie offered to add my name to an ASAP list and call if something opened up. In the mean time she called my insurance and verified my benefits for me. The same day, she called back and said they could see me that evening! When I arrived she shook my hand and introduced herself. The hygienist (I can’t believe I forgot her name!) was very kind and friendly. She took time to get to know me and hear what I had to say about my teeth and about myself. She was gentle and reassuring and very helpful. Dr. Allen was very kind and personable. He took time to talk with me and hear my concerns, he addressed every concern individually, and he did not rush at all. Even the check-​out experience was good! The office clerk looked up what insurance my husband had by the name of his employer and offered to check with the Dr. to find out if they could see him, even though it wasn’t an insurance they usually take. I recommend Dr. Allen and his staff very highly!

Dr. Allen has been the dentist for most of my family in the Gresham, Oregon area for years. I was visiting from Arizona, and after a few days of eating my mom’s deserts a lingering tooth problem quickly turned into an abscess and a swollen lymph gland. This was the day before 4^th of July and left a message for Dr. Allen who was on vacation. He called back within an hour and gave me awesome advice on what to do. He spent plenty of time listening and understanding my problem.
Dr. Allen also offered to come in on the 4^th of July if the problem continued to get worse. I ended the conversation feeling much better, employed his advice and enjoyed the rest of my vacation. BTW, I happened to come across one of Dr. Allen’s staff on the 4^th of July. Very kind, impressive, and real.
When I got back to AZ I handled the problem with my dentist. I’ve never had Dr. Allen as a dentist, but based on what my family says and my experience this guy is the best. An inspiration to me as a small business owner in health care.

Dr. Allen is awesome! Even if you’re «afraid of the dentist» or have ever had a bad experience in the past, you can be sure that you’re in good hands at this office. Everyone on their staff, from front office, to the assistants in the back, are friendly, knowledgeable, and they really care about you as a person. I’ve always hated having dental work done, but staying on a regular 6 month schedule with cleanings and exams helps keep me in check, and if I ever DO need work done, it’s minimal, and Dr. Allen is focused on making sure you’re comfortable, and the quality of his work is excellent.
