Bought a sheet cake from the Albertson’s bakery on 181st and Glisan, for our company’s 36th birthday in-house celebration. Was decorated beautifully and the flavor, from frosting to filling to cake itself, was superb! Would highly recommend this bakery, I really would. Ordering and picking up the cake was hassle-free; I paid in advance so I could swing by on my way in to work in the morning and pick it up. Was in and out in a minute with a cake that everyone loved.

My daughter, boyfriend and I shop here often, it is the closest store to us, other than Safeway, which is more expensive. There are some good and bad things about the store ide like to point out. Pros: *Friendly staff *If they don’t know where something is they are willing to help track it down. *butcher block and deli both have wide range of different choices of fresh foods with nice deals * within very close proximity to a large variety of other businesses,(same parking lot) including U. S bank, barber shops, car cleaner/automotive across the street, Starbucks, baskin robins, joy teriyaki, among others, so you can get your list out of the way! * one of the only places around where you can still find a can depository. Cons: *single person bathroom, with door code, and its usually pretty«dingy» * entrance on the right side of the store(main entrance) sometimes will not open and you will have to manually push it. * customer service counter is difficult to get to once your past the entrance, no clear path to it from inside the store. * security guards 24⁄7 at both entrances, which is understandable for the area, but less than inviting. They watch me like I’m gonna steal something even when I have my child with me, and the store employees know me from a co-worker of theirs being my boyfriends mom. So the security could at least not look at everyone like they will inevitably steal lol. * prices are definitely not perfect, most is slightly above average cost, but you can get nice deals/coupons to even it out.

Will not be coming back to this store. The store looks nice, but the street people hanging out in front of the store charging their iPhone & walking into the store barefooted to use their restroom really put me off.

been here several times and good place with enuff variety. They sell a fine fried chicken at the deli counter and at the moment great bbq ribs on the outside, yet remember first to get the receipt inside. Good fruit and vegetable condition and presentation. Meat not so good tho. Good frozen pizzas for sale.

Below are the«bullet» points, but basically I think this Albertsons is the nicest looking grocery in this part of east county and is trying to fill in a niche due to lack of Trader Joe’s/New Seasons/Whole Foods, etc. but is higher priced than average for an average experience. Price: higher than market average Selection: average, highlighting Mexican offerings Store condition: New SuperValu remodel but guards posted at each store entrance, which is not exactly inviting. Deli: finally added panini, 15 years after Fred Meyer; still fresh frying chicken though, unlike Safeway. Restroom: requires access code, despite being in «suburban» Portland.

I live very close to this store and I must say that the staff is very nice and helpful! If I worked their I can’t say I would be so nice due to the horrible customers. I have noticed a lot of shop lifting and have even notified employees of shoplifters. This is a great place if you just need to get in and get out. Great produce! Not the cheapest place around town but it is a good place to go if you just need to pick up a few items.

Bought food here once. Most expensive grocery store on earth, and the selection sucks. My wallet is still hurting from how hard it got screwed. The one star is for the employees, who were helpful and nice, otherwise no star for you Albertsons!

So admittedly this isn’t a ritzy part of town, but this grocery store is pretty ghetto without the low prices. Terrible selection of ethnic and organic foods and the quality of the produce here is low. The one upside of this grocery store is that the staff are friendly and helpful. Think that I will try and hit Trader Joes or Winco for my next grocery shopping trip.
