Walgreens

Pharmacy needs to get it together. I called before showing up to pick up my prescription to be sure it would be ready. Showed up an hour after when it was supposed to be ready just to be sure, and then was told they were working on it and asked to give them «a minute»… So I took a seat and waited for nearly an hour before the woman finally tells me my prescription is ready and that I can «get back in line now»… Which obviously was upsetting to me because the line had grown from just me, to nearly 8 other people who had all arrived after I had, and who’s prescriptions were also not ready on time. I was given no apology or explanation for why they were so far behind, and the two women standing around behind the pharmacy counter looked to be scrolling through Facebook news feed on their phones… Needless to say I WONT be back. I will say that one of the store managers was very nice to me on my way into the store he welcomed me and told me he was more than happy to help me find anything if needed, to which I thanked him and told him I was just there for my prescription. And then on the way out the door I ran into him again and he jokingly said they almost had to buy me lunch (in reference to the amount of time I spent in the store)… I jokingly said back to him that would’ve been nice. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy but perhaps the store itself isn’t so terrible.

Samantha in the Photo Dept. went above and beyond the call of duty for me! She not only helped me scan and save a copy of an old photo of my great-​grandmother from Laurens County but even provided glass cleaner for the frame I bought there. Framing the photo turned out to be a lovely surprise for my cousin!
