We’re big into wings and were hoping this might be a go-to place for us in the future. Sadly, we won’t be making that trip again. The short story: The wings themselves were okay — not the best, but far from the worst. The sauces we tried were okay, but had NOHEAT, even though we ordered them«hot»(supposedly 12,000 scoville units on their menu). Service was terrible though and the extra charges were ridiculous. The longer version: We went on a Sunday hoping to grab some beers and wings to wind down our weekend. Yes, I know SC has some weird laws about Sunday alcohol sales, but more cities(and I was under the impression that Greer was among them) passed local ordinances allowing restaurants to serve on Sundays. We were seated and our waiter came to take our drink order. I asked if there were any drink specials. He seemed really confused and then told me, «It’s Sunday» like I was an idiot. I understand he’s a young person and may not have entirely gotten the whole interacting with customers thing down, but a brief, «I’m sorry, but we can’t serve alcohol on Sundays,» would have set a much better tone for the meal, because it didn’t get any better. I never imagined I would complain about a restaurant being over-staffed, but clearly I should never say never. There were probably 8 servers with at most that many tables. All of the servers were very young and didn’t seem to have been trained very well. They mostly stood around joking or singing along to the music playing in the background while ignoring customers with empty glasses. We ordered buffalo chicken taco bites to start with. If there was chicken in there it had been pureed somewhere along the way and there was probably less than a teaspoon of filling(whatever it actually was) in each one. They were mostly just fried mini taco shells covered in hot sauce, which, while surprisingly tasty, wasn’t exactly worth the $ 5.99 for the quantity we got. We followed up with an order of 10 wings. The menu mentioned a 99 cent charge for flavors, which I guess having eaten at restaurants that serve wings before, I mistakenly interpreted as 99 cents for extra flavors in your order. I understand an upcharge for extra flavors(though why not just limit the number of flavors based on how many wings are ordered, like most wing places?), but upon the arrival of our check, it turns out that it was 99 cents for EACHSAUCE. So, I guess the menu price is only accurate if you order plain wings. However, they did have a good variety of wing flavors to choose from. You pick a flavor and then a «heat index,» so we went with General Tso’s(which our server tried to correct my husband’s pronunciation of which was 1) incorrect in it’s own right and 2) rude) and Maui, a teriyaki with sweet mustard sauce, both with a heat index of «hot.» The wings might have been hot to someone who thinks that mayonnaise is spicy. My best guess is that the kitchen staff is as young and poorly trained as the wait staff, and have no clue what a scoville unit is. We also had no celery or bleu cheese, which were only brought out when we inquired with the only person we saw who was clearly over the age of 20. We walked out at $ 22 with the tip having ordered waters, a small(and mostly meatless as far I could tell) appetizer, and an order of 10 okay-ish but not-even-remotely-hot wings. Overall, it was just really disappointing. I cut the kid who was serving us a bit of slack because he clearly had simply never been taught anything about customer service. I’m all for giving kids a chance(my first job was waiting tables, and it was a great experience), but if management can’t train them to do the basics like talking to customers politely, then there’s no hope for them or the restaurant. I sincerely hope that it was just a B-crew day, but since their B-crew was that bad, we won’t try again hoping for the A-crew.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. No urgency to greet you, no management direction! 8 employees all standing staring off into space. This is the 3rd time we have tried Easy Coast Wings. We thought maybe because they were new but that is not the case. The location needs new management

It was $ 10 for 5 wings and fries… A bit pricey. Good good overall and fast service, even during lunch hours.

I arrived at East Coast only to have the wrong order. I accepted the order because it was late, and I didn’t want to wait. I received my food for free, however I tipped the cashier $ 5. When I arrived home to eat my food, my fries were cold and the chicken was tasteless. Sorry but I don’t foresee trying this establishment again.

Meh, at best. Over priced, strange business model, rude manager, and food that is no better than wing joints at half the price. $ 32 for 20 wings, a kids pizza, and waters, not including the tip. This place will nickel and dime you to death, especially on Mondays(you pay $.65 per wing, $.99 per flavor, $.65 per blue cheese/ranch, and $.65 for carrots/celery). For a Tuesday through Sunday example, a 5 piece wing will cost you $ 6.99. Want a flavor? That’s right, the wings come with no flavors. That will be $.99! What kind of wing place offers plain wings and charges you for a flavor?! Most wing places allow one flavor per every 5⁄10 wings at no charge. At worst, you pay for a second flavor, but not here. The menu isn’t clear on this, either. Do you want all flats/drums? That’s yet another surcharge. Upon checking this place on Unilocal prior to entering, we saw the star rating was low, but appeared to be due to service issues and not food quality related. I should have read more in depth and also checked their Facebook page… horrible ratings. The good… The restaurant has a fresh and inviting interior with large, comfortable booths. The menu has a huge variety of food, from wings(obviously) to salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, sides, and desserts. You can also choose your heat level, regardless of flavor which is unique. The bad… Our visit is on a Sunday and they are outside of the city limits, so no alcohol. That’s gonna hurt business during football season! I dont know anyone that will over pay for mediocre wings and not have beer. Silly southerners and their legislated morality… Ok, more bad… they don’t provide a bowl/plate for wing bones. You are given one napkin which has silverware rolled inside. You will have to ask for more napkins, which yields only a few more. Why aren’t there wet naps? Why aren’t there paper towel rolls on the table? Very strange. The flavors we had were good, but the wings were not fully coated. I paid $.99 for that flavor, that crap had better be dripping wet! Finally, my wife spoke to Tammy, the manager about the confusion over the flavor pricing. Her response? «Take it up with corporate.» Really? That’s a manager’s response to a customer’s issue? You’re useless. Her job should be eliminated and her salary should go to providing customers a initial wing flavor. There are multiple locations of this restaurant, which is surprising. I guess this place is kept alive by first-time suckers such as myself. There will not be a second visit, as there are better and cheaper wing options locally. Finally, all of the negative reviews have a response from corporate requesting that the reviewer contact them via email. That’s a huge problem for a business! My note to corporate, you guys are bleeding customers, so don’t bother wasting your time responding, because I won’t waste mine.

I had lunch here the past two days. First on my own the next day with my wife. The first day I tried the wings, after all it’s a wing joint. They were great. Really liked the fact I could choose my level of spiciness and still get the flavor I wanted. Lots of choices for flavor. The next visit was with my wife she had grilled shrimp tacos and I had the bacon cheeseburger quesadilla, they were both really good. Really like the atmosphere, lots of TVs and good mix of music playing. Nice addition to the neighborhood.

Great service and nice wait staff. Every Monday, wings are 65 cents(which is fairly cheap). This place has lots of flavors and heat levels to choose from in wings. My favorite flavor here so far would have to be the«black and blue» wings. Trust and believe me when I say, do NOT go for the hottest flavor. You actually have to sign a waiver. Jeez. The 2nd hottest flavor is enough to make me sweat in agony. You should absolutely try the pub pretzels and mozzarella sticks! They both taste like heaven. I think East Coast Wings has the best chicken tenders EVER! They are HUGE! Some of the tables here do rock around, and that is a pet peeve of mine in restaurants. Nonetheless, East Coast Wings is a great place for a little get together or some wings on a Monday night.

Read all the reviews and giving the place the benefit of the doubt two adults and a toddler went on Friday for a late lunch. Got seated quickly but took a while for someone to greet us an take our drink order. When our server finally arrived, she was not a happy camper. Young, pregnant and definitely did not want to be there. We ordered drinks and a couple appetizers and she kept pushing us to order our entrees. Got our beverages and then our appetizers were delivered fairly quickly and by someone other than our server. After trying the sauce, we realized it was too spicy for our toddler and asked for a side of ranch… which took a while to receive. Then our entrees were delivered again by someone else. No dressing for the salad. No additional ranch for the wrap. No ketchup for the fries. Thank goodness we had the dressing from the appetizers so we could start eating. No drink refills until we asked. Again, thank goodness we had a bottle of water with us. No applesauce for the baby until we asked. We finished up and sat, and sat and sat waiting for our check. No check until we finally went to the register and asked. They weren’t busy, except sitting at a group of tables along the back wall talking to each other. There was one guy server who was the only one who seemed to be taking care of his customers. In fact my daughter remarked we saw him a dozen times more than we saw our own server. At least the food was good. The mushrooms and onion petals were nice and hot and the breading was very flavorful, though like I mentioned above, the accompanying sauce was a bit spicy. The buffalo shrimp wrap was good, as was the buffalo shrimp salad. Didn’t realize the shrimp could be ordered fried or grilled and wish we had been asked. We could have ordered one of each to see which we liked best. The baby’s grilled cheese was fine. The fries were the only food complaint we had. Lukewarm, not very flavorful… which was surprising considered the taste of everything else. We will return because of the food but boy I hope on our next visit the service is better.

Today was my second visit, as the first visit was so bad it wasn’t worth commenting. I went by myself at 3:00pm, only one other table was occupied. I ordered beer pretzels and boneless chicken wings, after asking if they are the same as the wings with bones. The order arrived incorrect, the wings had bones and the beer pretzels had the wrong mustard sauce. The entire time I was there, management allowed 4 staff members to hang out at the hostess stand and chit-chat, they all looked over at me several times but no one even offered to refill my glass of coke, which remained empty long enough that I finally had to ask for the refill, as they were more interested in social hour amongst themselves than accommodating customers. When the wings arrived, they only gave me 4 small napkins, barely enough to wipe my fingertips, let alone to wipe my mouth as the wings were messy. When I asked for additional napkins, the waitress seemed«bothered» that I asked for more and again, gave me 4 napkins which were not enough. You would think at a «wings» place that they would not be hesitant to supply the customer with enough napkins. I hope the franchisor comes in and straightens this team out, as this place will be up for lease again very soon. Customer service get’s an «F», the food itself was OK, not great, pricing was reasonable.

Didn’t even sit down. Absolutely no one acknowledged our presence as we stood waiting to be seated. And waiting. Cashier barely looked at us. At least four wait staff walked past without even a glance in our direction. And, they sure didn’t look happy! There was a bussing tray with dirty dishes sitting on the floor of the entrance near the door. The place was not busy — just a moderate lunch crowd. Finally just turned around & left. Too many good places to eat to put up with this. Sorry — was hoping for some good wings close to home!

My friends and i had moved from our normal wing place to try out this place. We ordered the wing platter. The wings we ordered were dry rubbed and we asked for their level hot wings. Very disappointed as the wings were cold and not hot. The beer was cold and the waitress must not have had any other tables as she was at our table every 2 minutes which became annoying. Then we felt as she rushed us to pay the tab. We are going back to our old place

I love trying new wing places. I went on a Monday for 65 cent wings day. Sat at the bar. Bartender took a while to get me a beer, but I ordered the wings, they came in literally 2.5 minutes. Was very impressed with the speed. I had boneless wings. they were ok. What really got me is THEYCHARGEFORSAUCE! and im not talking because I ordered extra sauces or something. I got 8 wings. 1 sauce. all buffalo hot. and they charged me an extra 99 cents for sauce! never heard of this for a wing place. Whats a wing without the sauce? The atmosphere was a little too family for me. like chuckee cheese or something. Ok wings, but I don’t think ill go back… just because they charge you for the wings, then charge you for each sauce. Weird

Decided to check out this place last night for their grand opening. I ordered 10 wings and a side of fries. My family makes fun of me for how picky I can be about wings. I normally like them cooked well done but I decided not to say that just to see how they would be cooked. I can honestly say they were some of the best wings i’ve had. They were cooked just right and the flavor was incredible. You have so many choices of flavors but the waitress was able to refer me to some of the favorites. The hostess team, waitresses, owners and the entire staff were friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. This is a great atmosphere if you want to have a drink and watch the game but also still a great family spot for dinner! I’ll be back again!

First, went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Not very busy, fair amount of tables and booths open. Hostess wanted to sit 2 of us at an 8ft. Bench seat near the bar where it was very dark. We asked to be seated at one of the many open booths at a window in the main dining area. Ordered buffalo sliders and was asked what type of sauce I wanted on my slider, mild, medium, hot. When I receive my order, I got three sliders which was a cut up grilled chicken breast with a quarter piece of cheese. No sign or taste of sauce. When questioning the server he explained they are cooked in sauce of my choice. BULL S H T! There was no sauce at all, no sign of «buffalo» on these quite expensive sliders. This is our second visit and our last. I’d rather go to zaxbys for the money.

This was our 2nd visit on Sunday, we had driven into Greenville from Tallahassee and was excited to stop get a cold beer and some wings. I was surprised to find out that beer can’t be served here on Sunday’s. So I opted for a diet coke and the bacon ranch chicken wings. The waitress was young and seemed a little inexperienced, but she was very nice. Our food came out quick and was on point. I’ll recommend this to the novice and experienced wing enthusiast alike, just get it to go if you’re looking to have a beer on Sunday.

Not a very happy camper after this visit. Granted they just opened a month ago, our waitress was super nice but their kitchen coordination skills were terrible. We ordered fries and nacho cheese and it came out within 7 minutes. Ordered the 25 wings with ranch, blue cheese, carrots and celery sticks but only the wings came out… Who serves a platter of chicken wings and doesn’t send the ranch and blue cheese out with it? I ordered the«Sam Adams beer battered fish and chips» with the hand sliced chips, slaw and their house tartar sauce but only the fish and chips came out… So I stopped and asked the waitress for my slaw and tartar sauce, she comes back with a bowl of slaw and tells me they are working on the tartar sauce. I probably would have went through the roof if our waitress wasn’t so nice. After bringing this up to our waitress, she stated she was going to get the manager. The owner came to our table and was very sincere about hearing the issues we had. He took down several notes, apologized for what had happened and stated he is going to address the issues with his kitchen staff. As concerned and sincere as the owner seemed, I’m going to give them another shot in a month or so to see if they squared away the kitchen staff.

Glad to see a wing place open this close to home. The wings had a good flavor and the service was good as well. The reason that I have only given three stars is that I was disappointed when the bill came and I found out that the sauces were .99 extra per sauce. It was my own fault for not noticing that in the menu when I ordered, as it is in there. But none the less when I go out for wings most of the places here are sold as a price for the wings which includes the sauce. Just my opinion but I would rather just see one price for the wings including the sauce. I don’t know many individuals that are going to just eat plain wings, so the price should include the sauce as well. Seems as if I am not going to be the only one that will pass on dinning here because of the prices.

This is a great wings place. Loved the bacon ranch wings and the cookie in a skillet. Great location. Staff seemed kinda lost. They did get my husbands wing order wrong but did bring us the correct order and we def got plenty of food. The waiting period for a table needs some attention. Maybe pagers? Food and atmosphere was good.

Excited to see this place pop open near our local publix! Sadly we came on Sunday so we could not get drinks(damn you blue laws), but the bar looked pretty and had a good selection on tap. The bar is also nicely seperated from what seems to be the more family oriented booths. As you walk in you notice a 90s rocko modern life feel, that is likely because the chain was founded in ’95. I dig it, the 90s were a rad time. There were plenty of servers anticipating the Sunday rush, and right on time they did get a big rush. The menu is great, huge number of wing choices but also a nice variety of other grill items. The wings definitely seemed to be the main deal. We tried several flavors, they were all delicious. The side salad was huge! Not really a place to go on a diet, but who needs to diet? This place seems to be set up for success and clearly the word has gotten out, because it was bustling! Great first experience :)
