I ordered the Meat and 2. Country fried steak, turnip greens, rice and gravy, cornbread. It was pretty good. The price is fair, service is good, and the food is good. I would definitely come back again.

We came here for lunch because a coworker got his oil changed next door. Before I start with the negative I will say I liked the fried pickles, but I can’t say much more than that for the plus side of things.
We got drinks right away, but then waited over 20 minutes for our waitress to come back and get our order. I ordered the 3-​veggie plate with mashed potatoes, mac’n’cheese, and fried pickles. The experience could have been salvaged from the wait if my order had come out right, but I had to send it back to the kitchen.
Unfortunately, the average food wasn’t enough to make up for the fact that we had to wait again while they corrected the order to pay at the register. They seemed like nice people, but I won’t be returning.

First time visiting A&P and was real impressed with the service and food. I ordered the beef tips with rice and gravy. The beef tips were real steak and was very good and hot. They have an apple cobbler that is out if this world. I ordered sweet tea and It is the best southern tea I have had in any restaurant. The place is very clean with a relaxed atmosphere. The wait staff are real attentive and confident with the menu and daily specials. I would recommend this place to all my friends and I will be back for more home style country cooking.

Meat and three plus burger/​sandwich fare. It’s very much a mom n pops type place.
It’s the only meat and three I’m aware of in the area, so even if the food wasn’t great Id give it five stars.
Just so happens that everything is quite good! Don’t miss the fried pickles they are special!!!

I so very much love this little place. My husband and I eat here about once a week. We usually have the same server, which is great for us because we love her! The owner is always around to make sure everything is to your liking, and I feel like he genuinely cares that you are happy. The food is always consistent, and there’s something on the menu for everyone. My personal favorite is the hamburger steak (which, to my surprise, they will cook to your preference) with mushrooms and onions and salad with the Greek dressing. I’m not one to drench my salad in dressing, but I can’t help myself since this stuff is sooo yummy! Overall, there aren’t many restaurants where you receive lots of great food and great service at a reasonable price. Luckily, I live about 3 minutes away, so I have the pleasure of dining here often!
