Been here multiple times and food is always outstanding and so is their service.

I went here for dinner and ordered the tenderloin. YUMM-O! Might be the best I’ve ever eaten! I met the Owner, Walt when he came out to say«hello». Nice touch! Place is not going to WOW your socks off with ambiance, but it seems to be a work in progress. The rest of our food was very good too. Salad was fresh and colorful. And our bread sticks were very tasty, too. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but worth the effort to seek out. Two thumbs up for Wuzzlers!

Wuzzlers is a great place to go for lunch. I’m a huge fan of their grilled sandwich & soup combo. You have to try their mushroom soup as it is delightful and really compliments the grilled sandwich. Portion size is just right, so you’ll leave satisfied, not bloated(although this can be said for all their menu items). Simple, quick & delicious. Many thanks again to Scott for the great service!

I was pretty impressed with this place. I liked the beer selection. Our server was a self-described«Bud light girl” — nothing wrong with that, but at least educate yourself if you’re going to work at a place with craft offerings. I had to deduct a star for that, but props for the honest answer. I had the pot roast, which was pretty tasty. Another diner had the woodman burger, which she really enjoyed. Someone else had the tenderloin and he seemed it enjoy it, but didn’t think the fries were anything special. The brisket was the last dish at our table, and it looked pretty good. She said it tasted fine, but was a little dry. My overall assessment: awesome beer selection; servers need education on craft beer selection, but all were super friendly; food was above average; ambiance of a sports bar.

. They had one server, who was also the«bus girl». Crazy to see her running around like a mad hatter to cover all the tables. We waited 10 minutes just to put in a drink order and were told that we couldn’t also give our food order at that time because other tables had been seated before us, so their orders needed to be taken before ours!!! Smokey Asian boneless wings were pretty good, with a decent«kick» at the end. French Onion soup was mediocre and lacked its signature bread croûton under the cheese. Get more help in here, guys… Service should be your #1 priority and staffing is a key element!

Started today off with a road trip to Cincinnati to Jungle Jim’s Weekend of Fire. Between the brake light coming on in our truck and me losing my cell phone, we abandoned this plan and decided to hang in Indy. We went to an early afternoon matinée movie just south of downtown, and decided to hit up Greenwood afterwards for a late lunch/early dinner. In searching Unilocal,I came across Wuzzler’s. I remembered a fair amount of hype around this when it opened, so we decided to give it a shot. The place was pretty dead when we got there in spite of having a bar and multiple televisions tuned to the Colts game. It took a few minutes for a staff member to come seat us — I was close to walking back out when they did. Fortunately, in spite of the dark nothing décor, things got better. The server Jessica was very pleasant and able to provide advice on our choices. The chili cheese fries were very good. I am not sure why someone said the chili was sandy and flavorless. I normally don’t like chili cheese fries enough to waste calories on them, but I ate more of these than my husband did. I ordered the W-Trojan Burger. It was very nice with the sriracha sauce, though I did not get so much of the jalapeños that were supposed to be incorporated into the meat. My husband ordered the Woodman. He liked it well enough, but he said if he wants a hint of peanut butter on a burger he’ll go to Triple XXX in Lafayette for a Dwayne? Dwight? Purvis burger! Not sure I’d come all the way back down here again though Jessica was a really attentive server and I always say you can fix the food before you fix people. Overall, not nearly as dreadful as some of the other reviews would lead you to believe!

After reading the other reviews on Wuzzlers, we decided to give it a try considering that it had quite a few reviews, and it was also averaging a 4 star rating; which is what I like to see when researching and considering a restaurant. I really start to get leery if I see a three star rating or less. After my own experience, I am sorry to say that I can only give Wuzzlers 2 stars — primarily due to the above par service we received. The food and ambience was below par. I didn’t realize the place was so small, but what I thought was even more sad and disappointing was the totally uninspired, shoddy and cheap décor. It really needs a makeover badly! It could be such a charming atmosphere with a little more creativity. The floor was just smoothed out concrete, and the layout was extremely open. The booths had no privacy between them, and my low back vinyl booth seat was loose and had a tendency to tip backwards if I barely leaned back in it. So, needless to say, I can only assume it wasn’t nailed down. The overall seating looked old and dated, like it could have possibly been purchased at a closing restaurant’s auction. The bar area was oddly blocked off and obscured from the tiny dining area by a 6 foot wall partition. The bathrooms were not very clean, and and appeared to have no ventilation. The waiter came over immediately and was very friendly and chatty. He told us about the vast beer selection. It was interesting and impressive on its own merit, but we really don’t drink, so it wasn’t a thrill for us. After he established that it was our first time there, he proceeded to tell us a little about the history of the restaurant. He also talked about many of the food selections on the menu including the daily special. Although he was very friendly, he was just a bit over the top, BUT, I am OK with that as I can be a small talker if the situation is appropriate. My fiancé just wanted to order and get something to eat. Hehe. We ordered the special of the day which was the burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms/gravy with tater tots, and the jerk chicken breast sandwich with onion rings. The food seemed to be hot enough when it arrived, but we were quickly disappointed soon thereafter with the quality and taste of the majority of the meal. The burger did not look or taste like a fresh burger patty. It seemed to be a frozen patty. The onion rings were not the ‘real’ kind. They were frozen onion rings that are made with bits of onion formed into rings and then breaded. Tater tots are tater tots, so we knew they were previously frozen; so there were no mysteries or surprises there. The jerk chicken patty was flavorful enough, but that is really about it. I can also add that it was really the only highlight of the meal by far. We got out of there by only spending only 20.00. It helped keep the disappointment factor minimized. That was the final saving grace to the 2 star experience. We were glad we didn’t risk ordering a dinner entrée, in which most were averaging around 15.00 + each. I just don’t think we will be back again,(or as my fiancé would say — «it’s off the list» !!!), and I will admit that I am slightly disappointed too; considering a majority of the shining reviews on Unilocal. But if I mull over what I read about it regarding the less than savory reviews, I will have to definitely side or concur with those assessments instead. The funny thing is, our waiter asked us where we had heard about Wuzzlers. I told him I’d heard about them previously through word of mouth from a friend, but had also decided to look them up on Unilocal.I told him that I was a serious and avid Unilocaler, but I guess in the end that really didn’t matter whatsoever; and it certainly wasn’t enough to take this experience over the top. Will Chef Ramsey be paying them a visit soon? Only time will tell. ;o) ! I suppose my perpetual search for an outstanding burger /diner type of place continues,…

First time at this place today and was floored. I sat up at the bar and Jess took care of me. First of all she is amazing, will definitely be back and ask for her. I was super stoked they had some local brews so I ordered the Taxman la maison and it was delicious. Also ordered the trojan burger annnnd let me just put it this way– NOMNOMNOM. So good, I’ll be back for more. Thank you again Jess ^___^

Giving this place 2 stars – which Unilocal says is «Meh. I’ve experience better,» because Wuzzlers is fine for the area but isn’t raising the bar for Greenwood dining. To their credit, they have a decent variety of local beer on draft and even decorate the walls with some posters of craft selections. But the place seems to be basically a local version of Applebee’s or O’Charley’s, not excelling in anything but being fine for the typical burger-joint customer who doesn’t care where their food comes from. Service was friendly – annoyingly so at first, when the server stopped by way too often, making us feel rushed to order our food. Strangely, he disappeared once we got our food. He finally showed up awhile after we had finished our meals and beers; I would’ve ordered another drink if he had stopped by to ask how our meal was. When we told him we were fine on drinks, he presented our check immediately without asking us if we wanted dessert, which is supposed to be good here. The food was adequate. My breakfast burger would be a great late-night or post-hangover meal, but I ordered it medium and it was much closer to well done. And it was supposed to have maple syrup on it, but I didn’t taste any. Pretty sure the tomato on my mom’s burger wasn’t local or fresh(which is hard to understand, seeing as how it’s tomato season). The coleslaw didn’t have much flavor and the cabbage in it was mushy rather than crunchy(why bother servng slaw if it’s not fresh?). And though the back of the menu espoused how the owners are happy to own a local business where they grew up, I didn’t see anything on the menu about local food, so for all I know the beef and everything else could’ve been the same kind of food-service-quality stuff that Applebees serves. If it’s not, they should mention it on the menu. Also, if you don’t have kids, I suggest sitting in the bar. We sat in a booth, which had no wall between it and the others, and the kids behind me were coughing, whining and shaking the booth the whole time. Wuzzlers has potential, but as it is, there are other great options nearby. Someone in another Wuzzlers review bashed Taxman, but at least they serve local food that’s on a significantly higher level than Applebees or O’Charley’s.

Great food and reasonable pricing. Local beers, a veggie burger made in house and an appetizer that was basically fried mashed potatoes! Our party of four was extremely happy with the food and service. It was a shame to see people pouring into the Wendy’s next door when a place like this exists!

I enjoy this place tremendously. The burgers are good and flavorful. Unique combos(like chili cheese & Cheetos! or the pizza burger which comes with a thick slab of deep fried mozzarella). Tuesdays are for tenderloins! They are on special for $ 6.99 — and yes people, these aren’t your typical Indiana beaten to the thinness of a sheet of paper… and I prefer them the Wuzzlers way! They have a nice substance to them and the breading is delicious. Not sure about grilled because I’ve never had it that way. your choice of sides — fries, tots or mac & cheese. can’t go wrong with any. don’t forget dessert — treat yourself to a wuzzler!(similar to a DQ blizzard but… you won’t find these flavors at DQ!)

I’m a regular at this pace and for good reason. Wing weds day. 60 cent wings!!! The sauces they dip them are amazing. The new Caribbean jerk is amazing! The sweet barbecues it’s a good valence of warm and sweet. Other attractions are the very nice staff and owners! The Variety of burgers is excellent and I’ve not gotten anything that wasn’t great!!!

My boyfriend and I ate here on a friday evening at the bar. The hostess was super helpful to make sure the bar was available. When seated at the bar, our order was taken right away. **They have local craft beer which is a huge plus for me :)** My boyfriend order a chicken sandwich which was– okay. He said it needed something else. I agreed because my parmesan hamburger needed a kick to it too. Both were delicious and filling, the fries were good too. Great service can take a business a long way!

I was excited to try Wuzzlers after seeing a clip on Channel 13. We went on a Saturday afternoon during the first week of opening and were seated immediately. The restaurant has a small footprint which explains the wait list the News mentioned. The dining area is divided by a 5′ high wall which seems unnecessary but perhaps added for coziness or lighting. If you enjoy bright light sit on the Westside by the window facing the parking lot. The eastside is more tolerable for our preference without the bright glare. The bar is relatively small with 7 bar stools, 5 two tops and 1 large table for 8. It’s a cozy, full bar great for after work drinks or waiting for a table. If you bring kids you’ll find a small game room to entertain them. Three prize machines and 2 or 3 driving video games for the tweens. The size of the area doesn’t allow for a large congregation of kids but it can still be noisy if sitting close to the game room door. The hostess, server and manager were all very pleasant and took excellent care of us. The manager was also checking with tables to confirm all was well. Water glasses were refilled often and we were checked on several times throughout our meal. Our appetizer arrived early enough to finish before our meal arrived which is a HUGE plus in my book. We were pleasantly surprised our lunch arrived quickly afterwards with the restaurant being full. We began with the Tarter Skewers as an appetizer. The potatoes are peeled into corkscrew strips, deep fried on a long wooden skewer and served three to an order with two dipping sauces for $ 6.99. They basically are a very crispy, thin potato chip. Very cute idea and the presentation caught several customers attention asking what they were. I personally do not enjoy extremely crispy homemade chips but my husband does. That’s on me and not the restaurants fault but I’m glad I tried them. If you enjoy homemade chips, I’m sure you’d enjoy. My husband enjoys spicy food and burgers so he ordered the Jerk Burger with fries($ 9.49) along with a Preacher’s Daughter Ale. He was disappointed in the size of the patty and the bun overpowered the amount of beef. His feedback was the burger was ordinary but perfectly edible; Just not worth a 45 minute drive. I tried the Trojan Burger with fries, subbing chicken for the burger, and found it very tasty. The chicken was tender, not overcooked and I enjoyed all the topping with the tender chicken breast. I would recommend and I’d order again. They only carry Pepsi products so it was water for me. Overall the restaurant is fine to grab a quick sandwich or drink if we lived in the neighborhood. However, driving 40 – 45 minutes isn’t something we’ll do again when we can find a better burger closer to home. .

I love Red Lion in Fountain Square, so when I heard this place was a sister restaurant(and that they had a burger with Cheetos on it), I knew it was a place to try. We had a late dinner here last Friday, after attempting to eat at Taxman Brewing in Bargersville(but that’s another review entirely). We sat in the bar, which seemed to already have established some regulars. The bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful, which was a breath of fresh air after the experience at Taxman. The food was good, as is always the case at Red Lion. I had the buffalo chicken wrap because I’m a creature of habit and the Lion’s is always good. Husby had a burger with jalapeños and sriracha — the name escapes me, but it was VERY good and VERY spicy. They have their own blizzard-like desserts, which sound heavenly, but I was too full to try one, but I plan to the next time we’re in. I know… this seems like a glowing review to only give them 3 stars. Here’s why. It seems sort of… dingy. I don’t mean dirty — I would be happy to share with you if a place is dirty. Maybe it was because it was getting late on a Friday night and they’d been super busy(although they weren’t when we were there — outside of the bar area, I think there was only 1 table with people). But it’s a pretty new place, and it just seems like it already needs spruced up some.

Wow! I can not wait to return to this place! First of all the service is fantastic. Helpful, efficient, friendly, and attentive. I really couldn’t ask for better. The atmosphere is simple and inviting. And ya gotta love the arcade. Some people might appreciate the TVs with sports. I enjoyed watching Spongebob. Now, the food… I ordered the burger of the month, The Woodmen. Bacon and more bacon. Cheese and more cheese. Yummy all the way around. Add the Sunlight from Sun King and it was the perfect meal for this burger and brew loving gal. My husband had The Jerk burger. He enjoyed it. And I found the bite I stole to spicy and flavorful. We can’t wait to return here with the boys to enjoy more tasty burgers and add some ice cream to the mix. Remember to bring quarters for that arcade. You don’t want to leave without a dinosaur souvenir.

I got the Cheetos Chili Cheeseburger with fries. It was a nice thick burger, topped with nacho cheese, thick chili, and cheetos! All of the burgers are like that with what you might think is one too many toppings — but take a chance! Cheetos on a burger worked great. The potato skins looked and smelled great. You can get tater tots instead of fries with any sandwich — tots are cool. Great selection of local craft beers with about 10 on tap. I had the Tow Yard Goldie Hops which was a very nice beer. I will go back for a wuzzler — ice cream with stuff blended — I want to try the Nutella What? which has nutella, bananas and bacon — if I remember correctly.
