I would give less stars if I could. I saw online that they do weddings starting at $ 575. It never says anywhere that they do reception or ceremony reception only. I was looking for ceremony only. I drove all the way from Carmel to greenwood. I mentioned to the receptionist I was looking for ceremony only and she said nothing. When the coordinator came out she said they don’t do ceremony only. She said I’m sorry and walked away. Old place. Not impressive. They want their reception money for sure

Not a «Country Club» at all, it’s nothing more than a wedding mill. BEWARE! Do not do your wedding with them. They quote you a cheap rice and nickel-dime you to death with all of the extra fees. They are so unprofessional! They delayed my wedding for over an hour. They over charge on the cheap liquor packages. No one at our wedding drank because the alcohol was awful. The staff is not friendly and inadequate. DONOTGETMARRIED THERE!

First round of golf this year! Little wet but same old Valle vista. Greens were Icey fast. Grass was too wet to cut and the rough was impossible to find the ball. Like most courses around town the price is a little proud during normal pricing. Go during a discounted time and be prepared to hit your drives straight. Lots of homes on almost every hole. Clubhouse is pretty old school and expect the normal hot dog or pre made sandwich for the turn. 200, 150, 100 are predominant and always visible. Not many sprinkler head random yardage markers. Also flag poles are basic and don’t have laser finders prism on them. Carts were good olé fashion gas and pretty peppy but loud. Unfortunately it was path only with the wetness and rough made it a long day of ball searching Had a couple old grumpy petes as rangers and a guy in the parking lot brings you a cart which is nice since its a solid little up hill walk to clubhouse if its busy.

We used this venue as we found it to be the best value in the Indianapolis area. We were able to set up a wedding and reception with hor d’oeurves, buffet, cake, and alcohol for 100 people under 10k. There were many buffet options and options for more elaborate sit-down dinners, as well. You could also have your wedding on «off-days», seasons, and times at better rates. We visited the venue while up around the Christmas holiday to set up some of the final details. I wasn’t aware that chair covers at the reception and table cloths other than white and black were an additional charge. However, because our wedding was in March Donna was able to offer us a reasonable rate on linens. She even sent me swatches in the mail to help me match them up with my centerpieces. The venue does not make the traditional wedding cake but they do have a model cake for display/photos. Individual mini cakes are served to each guest. The cakes tasted excellent and I received many compliments on them. The cake is 3.50 per guest and they will pack up the remaining«top layer» for you take home. Champagne is provided for the bride and groom but is not included for the guests. The champagne/grape juice is 15 dollars per bottle. If you choose not to use Valle Vista’s cake there is a 1.50 cake-cutting fee per person and your cake must come from a licensed baker. The veranda is beautiful and the reception was set up just as I wanted. Service was excellent and they also provided us with our own personal«day of wedding coordinator», Dianne. Dianne went above and beyond for us and did everything possible to make our day run smoother. They also provided a cheese, fruit, and cracker tray for us in the bridal suite area to munch on while we were getting dressed. If you need an iron or steamer be sure to bring your own, as they don’t have one available on site for use. Overall, I was very pleased with Valle Vista and would definitely recommend them!

Ashley Vincent a Young 23-year-old hairdresser living in in Beech grove. She bought a house scheduled a wedding. She was to be married in May and scheduled a reception at Valley vista in Greenwood. One month ago she finds out she has brain cancer. Fighting for her life she called Valleyvista and asked for a refund they have plenty time to try to fill the space and refund her 4000.00, But no they tell her use it or lose it. Does anyone know who is in charge of the management of that company?

This review is for The Pros Photography only. DONOTUSETHISSERVICE!!! We had a horrible experience with our«photographer» Andrea. I contacted them directly through email in January, right after our wedding, and I am still waiting on a response. Our day started off good, with our photographer taking pictures of everyone getting ready(or so I thought), she was actually walking around the house taking over a hundred random pictures of our rings and my wedding dress. LITERALLY over a hundred pictures. Moving on to before the wedding pictures. I kept asking her to take pictures that I thought would be good ideas and she literally would only take one picture. After I asked her to please take another one«to make sure we captured the moment» she would say«oh I got it». She didn’t. Every one of our pictures consists of either someone blinking, someone’s face pinched, someone looking away, etc. I will never have a picture of my bridesmaid walking down the asile because she blinked and our photographer only took one picture. Now on to the reception. This is where we spent most of our time telling our«photographer» to please stand up and actually do her job. SEVERAL times I myself had to leave my guests to walk over to her and ask her to take pictures, more than one of my guests had to approach her and ask her to stand up. This is unacceptable. I feel that a photographer should know to take traditional pictures(picture of the cake, picture of the center pieces, picture of the wedding party at the table, etc.), well I literally had to ask her to do ALL of those. I thank God I did ask her or else we wouldn’t even have these memories on photo. This is sad to admit but it is now March and our wedding was in January. Not one person, including us, has bought ANY pictures from the wedding. That itself should say enough. The pictures our guests randomly took are FAR better than any the photographer took. I wish I could post side by side pictures on here to prove how horrible these are. Seriously if you are a bride looking into The Pros consider a different company. You will get a far better experience(they don’t allow the photographer to contact you until a few days before the wedding, which is not nearly enough time to talk about everything), and you will get better quality pictures. If anyone from this company is reading this I would appreciate to be contacted finally.

I got married here in 2009. Let’s face it, first of all: this is a wedding factory. If you’re looking to have the most unique, unforgettable, crazy, insane wedding like you see on TV, your pockets are limitless and you want your hand in every aspect of your wedding, this is not the place for you. However, if you want a nice, traditional, and affordable wedding with some customization — at least give Valle Vista a look. The service for the most part was good. Some people were friendlier than others, but whatever. The day-of-coordinator was the best lady there, though I can’t remember her name anymore. The waitstaff was ok, and other administrative staff were cool too. The location is pretty nice and seems more expensive than it actually is. I wanted to get married sorta outside but not really outside, so the veranda was perfect. The only problem: it was humid and 90something that day, and it was SWELTERING on the veranda despite the fans! Yeesh. There was no air flow at all. But it was a risk to get married in June, so we accepted it. The golf course area is ok to(except for a big ugly water tower thing). We took most of our photos downtown before leaving to VV, and I would recommend that to everyone. We had a few portraits after the ceremony, but it wasn’t anything unique or interesting. The reception was basically a nice ball room type area. The food was better than expected and the staff kept things flowing nicely. I had a friend running late and asked the staff if they’d take some food aside for them if they didn’t mind and the head waiter scoffed and told me I could do it if I wanted. I felt like that was a little weird because I’ve known wait staff to do this at banquets in the past, and you’d think they wouldn’t tell the bride to do it herself in the middle of talking to loads of family, but maybe I had an underprivileged bridezilla mindset going on? Whatever. Another thing I didn’t like: we intentionally had a dry wedding, but there was a pro shop open in the building that sold my guests beer, so I ended up looking like a cheap ass with a cash bar AND my alcoholic family were STILL drunk. Overally, I had a great day and our wedding cost well under the average for the Indianapolis area. Not the most impressive or unique wedding, but it worked for us. 3 stars because the entire VV experience didn’t whisk me off my feet the same way my aspects of the wedding planning did(if I do say so myself).
