Travel Centers of America Restaurant

This is a nice little place to eat and gas up. There’s a subway, a casino and a nice little restaurant to sit and eat. The sandwiches and burgers range from $ 7.59 to about $ 10 and there’s unlimited soup and salad for an additional $ 2.99. On weekdays there’s a different variety of meals (other than the burgers/​sandwiches) where you can also add the unlimited soup and salad.
The salad bar isn’t bad and it isn’t great. It’s just good enough to enjoy and hit the spot while you’re taking a break from the road. I can’t complain about anything other than the artificial bacon bits. Those always annoy me. ‘Mericans love their bacon! Lol!
The restrooms are clean but the restroom area smells like cigarettes due to sharing a hall with the casino. It’s not a strong smell, but just enough to make your stomach turn if you absolutely hate the smell of cigarettes. Very faint, but still there.
Lakisha waited on our table and she was excellent and very attentive. She also has a pretty great sense of humor and don’t mind having a little laugh with the customers. Melinda ran the register and did a great job ensuring the tables were clean in between customers, as well as making sure the soup bar was stocked with enough of soup and rolls.
