The best. Of course it was better when Logan was there! Still food is off the hook! Good and good portions for the money.

I must not«get» it — I’ve tried Roscoe’s several times with my family, and it’s extremely meh to me. My family enjoys it, and many of my Greenwood friends love the place. It’s a slight step above Taco Bell, but that’s about it. Their sauces are actually very good. But, the ingredients on the actual food seem very generic. The toppings remind me of Subway — right out of a bag and nothing special(even if they are fresh, I can’t tell). The interior of the original restaurant is super sketchy — makes me wish Indiana required businesses to publish their food safety rating on the door. Roscoes has started to branch out and open new locations, and those aren’t dated(but give them a few years?). If anything, I’d go to Roscoe’s to support a local business instead of a chain, and to try more sauces, and make my family happy.

Get the ground chili on nachos, burritos etc. it makes a big difference at this place. I always was a little down on this place because I didn’t know what to order. Now I do and I like roscoes a lot.

Roscoe’s Tacos has been a family favorite of ours in Greenwood since the early 2000s. You can count on a great price and always consistently fresh food whenever you eat at Roscoe’s. The names of the food options are unique and can be confusing, but the wait staff is happy to help and there are menus all around. You can get ground beef, chicken or black beans and rice in a taco, soft taco or burrito. They come with several toppings that you can remove to your liking. If you order a full size taco salad, you had better have a big appetite! My kids like to get the beans and rice bowls, and I always have the black bean and rice burrito. A primary staple at Roscoe’s is their hot sauce. There are several different levels of spiciness, starting with Cincinnati City Slicker at the mild end, and Lava as the very hottest. Again, just ask the wait staff or check the signage. My family likes Texas Brushfire the best, as it has a lot of flavor for relatively little spice. You can’t go wrong at Roscoe’s.

Lady taking the order was rude but food was pretty good. Would rate higher if customer service was better.

Sort of a mix between fast food and nice sit down restaurant. Food tasted very good, large portions, decent price, good service.

Yum, yum, yum! I love this place. So glad that I’m living close to it again. I would recommend it in a second if you haven’t been here before! It gets a little busy in the evening sometimes but it is worth the wait.

Not your typical grease tacos I was expecting. They were pretty good and they had great customer service! They were so helpful with telling us what’s good on the menu aswell as letting us try all their sauces.

I have always like this place. The food isn’t overly spicy or overly pricey so that’s all a big plus. I usually get the nachos or the little tacos. All their meats are great. Service is fast. Oh, and the cookies… woah… get a cookie– trust me.

May not be the most upscale atmosphere. But Roscoes has some damn good tacos. Yes, American style tacos. Tesla and Butch Cassidy are my fave! I know others who love the nachos and they make it large. They’ll make it with everything or a few things, black olives, onions, cheese, etc. Great sauces(I’m a mild Cincinnati city slicker myself)

While I mostly enjoyed what I had at Roscoe’s Tacos, I think the word ‘bland’ comes to mind first. I’m new to Roscoe’s and wanted to try a few different things to see what was good. I ordered a #3. Mike Fink shredded chicken burrito, a side of black beans and rice and drink, I also added a Lil beef taco. I started with the Lil Beef Taco. Normally I don’t prefer hard shell tacos, but this was quite good. For its size and price I was pleased with the amount of shredded beef it had. The side of black beans and rice were nice and cheesy but lacked much flavor. I added quite a bit of the Texas Brushfire sauce to them as I ate. Finally, I moved on to the burrito. It was a good size burrito, filled with a lot of chicken and a good amount of extras(lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.). The shredded chicken was disappointing. There was no flavor at all and fairly mushy. I added a lot of sauce to this burrito as I ate. I understand why restaurants have to make things palatable for a broad range of customers, but mushy, bland chicken isn’t appealing to anyone. That said, the shredded beef was enough to make me want to come back and order something different. Next time I’ll just avoid the chicken.

I get a craving about twice a month that I just cannot shake. I always get the Paul Bunyan with everything on it. Something about that chili meat that just melts in your mouth. I am a huge fan of the Bushfire sauce. I keep a bottle in my fridge at all times! I definitely agree with others on the Cowboy Cookie claim. They are delicious. Service is always fast and courteous.

Extremely friendly staff, fast service and great food. The sauces make the burritos and tacos, don’t leave off the brushfire or, if you like it hot, lava sauce! It burns your mouth but it’s so worth it for the flavor!

I don’t know what it is about Roscoe’s, but it’s something I just need to have sometimes. Husband and I usually get a taco each and share an order of chicken nachos. The ingredients are always fresh, the service is quick, and the building is as clean as an old building can be. Don’t overlook the five sauces they have available, ranging from mild to super hot. The food doesn’t need it, but the sauces certainly add a lot of different flavors. We don’t live in Greenwood and are bummed that the Irvington location closed, but it’s worth the trip for a Paul Bunyan.

The shredded beef tacos are AMAZING… I hate the burbs, but I will head all the way down to Greenwood to get some of this good stuff. The sauces are fantastic and my family always leaves happy. If you haven’t been you are missing out!

Huge fan of Roscoe’s., Stop almost every time we go to Greenwood to visit family. The shredded beef tacos are amazing as are the regular beef tacos. Their sauces are fantastic and have one for almost every taste. Personally I’d stay away from the chicken tacos. They are dry with little added flavor.

I guess the ingredients weren’t as fresh today since my boyfriend threw up twice upon eating chili beef nachos. We had a to-go order — I got a chicken burrito. It gave me some stomach cramps and other issues. Just a heads up. However, we keep coming back since I love your shredded beef. I thought I would change it up today.

This is my absolute favorite place to grab a burrito in Indy. The Perfect Meal does not disappoint. Their Pecos Bill Burrito is absolutely amazing. It’s huge so prepare for that surprise but I always end up finishing the whole thing because its mouth watering. Come with another small taco thats like an appetizer compared to the mammoth that is Pecos Bill. If you are a person that loves hot sauce from mild up to scorching hot, try any of theirs. Im more of a fan of the Hotter than Hot so I go with their 2nd hottest: Tonsillectomy. It has such a good burn but still is able to hold the delicious flavor you want with a hot sauce. There is one a level above this called Lava but I think it’s taste is always bland, hot but no flavor. Not a fan of their Nachos, I’m pretty picky when it comes to them though. My girlfriend wasn’t a fan of them either. However, I do have a friend that swears by them so give them a go I suppose. The only downfall of this place is it’s location. It’s so far down south from Indy I almost dread the drive if their is traffic. Their used to be one on the east side in a bad neighborhood that didn’t do too well but had the same great food. Bring Roscoes back to Indy! I’d love to see it pop up somewhere like Mass Ave, or in Fountain Square.

I’ve lived in Greenwood for almost a decade and I’d never been to Roscoe’s Tacos. It’s a shame really, because the tacos here are really tasty. I tried the chicken and the beef and both were really good, but the chicken was my favorite. I didn’t even realize they had sauce you are supposed to put on them until I’d inhaled them. Maybe next time I’ll give that a try. The focus isn’t on fancy ingredients or spices, it’s just good, fresh food. It’s in need of a facelift on the inside, the walls need paint and the booths have seen better days. But secretly, I kind of dig it. They don’t need to worry about the atmosphere, the food is just that good and the staff is really friendly. Everyone knows the best food comes from little hole-in-the-wall dives, just like this.
