Absolutely LOVE this place. Took my wedding dress in as well as a bridesmaid, flower girl and mother of the bride dress. She did an amazing job. Good price and fast turn around time. She was so sweet and even helped occupy my niece while I tried my dress on. Would definitely recommend this place. I live downtown and would travel for the customer service and quality.

Decent place to get alterations done.
I took a really nice pair of double lined dress pants there not too long ago.
I can usually hem and do some minor repairs as well as some minor alterations on my own, but because the pants were double lined and looked like more trouble than I could handle, I decided to give this business a try. The woman who owns the shop did a nice job, and the price for the job was reasonable enough. I would recommend them to anyone.

I took my 11 year-​old daughter here to have a dress altered for a talent show, and the shop owner, Sue, told her she would be a lot prettier if she lost some weight. She then proceeded to tell her that she better not gain any more weight until her talent show, and that she wasn’t allowed to eat any more desserts or have any soda. I will never return to this store again.

I took some pants here to have them taken in and the lady asked «if (I) had lost weight, why was (I) still so fat?»
She was also bossy and rude to my daughter who was having her letter jacket stitched.
Never again, shame on her.

I took a couple of sport coats here, one to get mended and the other to have the sleeves shortened. They were very friendly and completed the work in a timely manner. I was pleased with the final product, both sport coats look great. Despite the fact that this establishment is not located on Main Street, I will be returning.

Sue at Main Street Alterations is the best! You can tell how loved she is by her customers with the many photos of her fine work posted inside her business. She does exceptional tailoring and provides perfect, small-​town customer service. By that I mean she always remembers me, knows exactly what I need and asks about my family. She even is known to finish work days earlier than promised — what a treat! We all have been going here for years and wouldn’t dream of taking our clothes elsewhere. If you’re in the area, definitely visit Main Street Alterations.
