317 Vapers

Well, they didn’t have any customers when I went in and that was a good thing because it was my first time at a vape shop and I was making my first vape purchase. The shop person didn’t really care if I was there or not and he had no opinion on anything to purchase for a newbee. I felt that I was left out in the cold and was confused on what to purchase. I did purchase a Kangertech evdo kit and a bottle of juice. I had questions on how to start vaping and he again had no advice. That was my first and last time at his shop as I will never return. Thank God for YouTube, watched many videos and I am now cigarette free.

Went to 317 for the first time today and was not impressed. I’ve been to many shops around indy and this was close to the worst. The employee of the store was talking to a lady who clearly was new to vaping and grossly upsold her to a vape 3 steps above the one she was using. From an evod stick to a 50w istick. He was very rude when i tried to tell her that what she described was a 30w but he insisited that going from a beginner vape to a 50w was what she needed. That alone set a bad tone of upselling and not really listening to what your customer wanted. Juice selection wasnt bad and the place was clean, I’ll give them that. Personally, i was just put off.

Vaping is my husband’s way of not smoking (and new hobby.) We have been to Vape stores near and far (oh so many.) In my opinion, 317 Vapes is not only the most sincere in what they do but the most responsible. They truly KNOW what they are doing. Yes, we showed up one night after hours. They welcomed us to buy because they had not shut down the computerized register. However, the hours do kinda suck ;) maybe they will reconsider longer hours due to spring and summer. We ended up with bootleg coils from another store because they were closed.
My husband and son both vape. I do not. If you are a beginner and you really want to get the correct information, 317 is where you want to be. Now, That being said… prepare yourself to walk into a sort of overwhelming busy place. The place is full of vape smoke and the owners are no nonsense huge guys. They resemble bouncers but are extremely intelligent on their business and patient with beginners. It sort of looks like Wallstreet before the bell rings. I am very pleased with them and hate when we have to go elsewhere because of their hours ;) hint hint!

Showed up after 4 and they still had people and even children at the location. If you say your closed at 4 but yet still have the door WIDE open why not allow customers to still buy if they show up. I don’t think this place is that great when they turn away customers coming to buy stuff while they are still there even after they are «closed» & why is it okay for young children to be sitting there while their parents are vaping…
