I just went to fourleaf for the LAST time. I really wanted to like this place since it’s within walking distance of my office. The first thing that you notice upon walking in in the smell, its like disinfectant and dirty dish rags is the best way to describe it. It’s just not pleasant… at all. I have gotten an upset stomach in the past after eating there also. A few hrs after my salad the gurgling starts, then its time to run to the bathroom. it doesn’t last long, but tells me something is up with the sanitation or lack of in that place… Today was the last straw, in addition to the lovely«smell» I was greeted with, the place seemed rather empty.(not a good sign at lunch around these parts) I ordered the large romaine w/steak. Sadly, about 80% of my «steak» was fat/gristle and just nasty. So much for some added protein. I took my salad to go(yes, the free gummy bears are the best thing there) and sat down at my desk to eat. Midway through my meal I was disgusted enough to throw the rest away(bye bye $ 12.00) I was left hoping that Montezuma wouldn’t come back to visit this time since I threw out most of my food. I will be making the drive to Mad Greens next time… :(

Very helpful and friendly staff, but this place is filthy. Disgusting floors, dirty walls… even the ceiling is gross. When I got there they had the cutting boards pulled out so they could wipe them down and I could see what looked like mold on the sides. I still got a salad, but didn’t eat it for fear I’d get sick.

Yum! Fresh ingredients consistently. Friendly staff and patient while you figure out what you want on your salad. A huge selection of goodies. If you order online, don’t try to get ingredient or dressing«on the side»…they won’t/don’t do it.

This place reminds me of being back in New York! Delicious and healthy and just the way I like it! I wish they would open a location closer to me, the staff is so pleasant!

My coworker raves about Four Leaf every time he returns with a salad. So on his recommendation he says«They’re Great» and says be sure to «Yelp Review» them and they’ll offer you a free card good for a free salad! He eats there a few times a week. He isn’t a Unilocaler(yet) so this review is for him! He gave the card to me so I’ll be giving my take on the salads after my visit!!! Happy Unilocaling!

With all the fast salad places available, Fourleaf has a lot of competition and must offer their product in a package that is fresher and better looking than the competition. Sadly, the owners of this establishment did not get that message. The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in is the general displeasure that the building and room(yes, in this case it has a personality) display. It’s sad because they clearly haven’t shopped the competition to see what a pleasing environment a Mad Greens offers you. It’s dark, seems dirty(although it wasn’t), old and disorganized. Overall, not a place you’d want to spend a lot of time in. Then there is the food. The salad. The reason why you come here. Well, you’ll find out shortly that it’s also the reason why you should never come back. Frankly, this salad is something you can make at home, but instead, it’s made by people that are clearly not happy to be at work with a 50% markup. Good deal right? In the end, it’s just a salad where you aren’t sure where the product came from. Let me be the first to say(or perhaps the 100th based on other interviews), it’s not a good deal and just not worth your time.

Very disappointed. I ordered a spinach salad with avocado, beets and chicken. I was given a spinach bowl with about one bite of avocado, a sprinkle of beets, and maybe three baby bite sized pieces of chicken… thank you Four Leaf for having me pay $ 8 for a bowl of chopped spinach when I can buy one pound of organic spinach from Costco for $ 4.49. Like I said very disappointed.

REALLY glad my online order was incorrect because after seeing the conditions of this place I didn’t want to eat there anyway!!! I ordered online to save time, but going here was a complete waste of time!!! 1. I ordered my salad with dressing on the side so that I could try several of the different dressings. Instead, what I got was a salad tossed with 3 different dressings … REALLY??? 2. I’ve never seen such a DIRTY restaurant. Looked like it hadn’t been mopped or swept in weeks. The counters were grimy, and there were stains on the walls and under the cutting boards … GROSS!!! 3. I like the idea of a chopped salad, except when I see the knife used for chopping is wiped down with the same towel that is used to wipe the cutting boards, counters, and employee’s hands!!! 4. They offered to remake the salad, and after having to ask for it to be remade a second time, I was informed they were out of romaine … REALLY, you’re a salad place??? 5. By this time I asked for a refund, and the manager said he would do it. OK, when exactly is that going to happen? I was told to check my account later … REALLY??? Not sure how the health department hasn’t shut this place down!

Great service, seems to be fresh ingredients and they literally shop everything up. However they use entirely too much dressing. My salad was saturated. So much so that when I got back to work some of it was already soggy.

This is the only salad place I go to. I’m not a big salad eater, but I absolutely love the salads at Fourleaf. TIP: The small salad is still very big, and it’s a great deal. It’s not the most attractive place(orange and green walls), but the food is amazing.

I’m sad to report that fourleaf is slowly losing its appeal. The last two times I have been in, there is techno music blaring, the restaurant has an unclean/musty smell, and the sneeze guard and floors have residual swirl marks from using unclean water or rags/mop. I feel as if management is spending too much time and money on marketing and new TV monitors to display menus and not paying attention to staff or maintaining the great reputation that the former owner built. I would be so sad to see this place go for these reasons.

I’ve been getting salads here for several years. The staff remembers me, sometimes by name, and are unfailingly friendly and courteous. At $ 9 for a large it is a bit pricy but the ingredients are always fresh and high quality so I don’t mind. There’s tons of toppings and dressings so you can make your salad as healthy or high-calorie as you desire.

Fast, affordable, healthy options with a friendly staff to boot! Had a small southwestern with the lime-cilantro vinaigrette and it was great. Note the small was plenty for a lunch portion and I was not left hungry. Worth noting their wifi worked well.

As someone who believes salad is meant to just be the first course of a meal, I may be in trouble. To begin, these salads are freaking huge! Forget a salad to start your meal, these are a whole meal(dang it!). There are multiple predefined salads which make ordering a salad easy enough. Ok, I like chicken wings(probably the reason I *need* to eat more salads) so let’s go for a buffalo chicken salad. Sounds logical enough. They assemble the salad chop it up, mix it up, etc. Now in case like me the definition of a buffalo chicken salad means 4 carrot sticks, 4 celery sticks and the wings, you will be disappointed. But if you want something healthy(which carries with it health effects of you know … eating salad, not fried chicken slathered in sodium) it is close enough to make you think you ate something similar. It is filling, it is salad, it is healthy(or at least much healthier then many other quick service meals).

These folks are THEBEST! A group of girls at work decided to get Fourleaf for lunch(this isn’t a new thing) and we discovered that they now have delivery after $ 28! So, we all ordered our salads and typed something cute in the«special instructions» area. Things like«please make with love!» and«you guys rock!» because well, that’s how we do. The staff at Fourleaf responded to every salad comment with something even cuter in return! We were gushing! And to top it all off, they sent a little treat of Gummy Bears because we were nice. How RAD is THAT? So, I DEFINITELY recommend this place for ALL occasions and I even sent the link to our office manager so she could look into them catering for us! Fourleaf, y’all just made my day!

The concept here is pretty awesome(probably because I compare the concept to Chipotle’s concept). That being said, I am not a huge salad eater. I like salad, but I’m not diehard. I have been here a few times and each time I have gotten the Buffalo Chicken salad off the«pre-made» menu. This salad has been pretty freaking good each time. This last time, I really splurged and added bacon and it was even better! I might get the hang of the«build your own» menu in 34 more visits! Do yourself a favor, just get the buffalo chicken salad and dont forget your bread and gummy bears at the check out :) You are welcome!

I heart salad places and Fourleaf is no exception. I was forewarned to get here early and that’s no lie – we got there at 11:30am and there were a few people ahead of us and by the time we left the line was nearly out the door which is just ridunkulous(but at the same time reassuring to see people in line for salads vs fast food). They have small and large sizes, set salads or create your own version, simple enough to find something that will make your mouth and belly smile. I went with a large cobb salad and love that they offer it with grilled chicken. It’s kinda like the setup at Subway in a constant conveyor belt like line but you don’t talk to the employees at Fourleaf, they just do their thing. Execution wise it’s a fail because it gets backed up which then in turn results in a line almost out the door. This right here is going to stop me from coming here again for a salad when I want to dine in and instead I will choose to call in the order and pick it up. Oh yeah and when you pay there’s gummy bears, lots and lots of gummy bears. Heaven. The salad was terrific and too much for me to kill in one sitting so I got to have second lunch later in the afternoon. I hope they either expand their space or hours, they are only open from 11a-4p, what the hell? Some people like salads later than that.

For me, Fourleaf is still the best of the fast salad places near my office IF you are taking out the salad. While I do think it is one of the better priced salad places and I happen to like their favorite selections or daily salad specials, it isn’t a place that will draw you in and make you want to sit and relax at lunch. It is in a weird shopping plaza that is super busy and doesn’t have much of a seating area. However, I think it is one of the better assembly line salad places for the price. While Choppers in a nicer atmosphere(bigger/brighter) and Mad Greens is great if you are in the Park Meadows area, Fourleaf is perfect for the quick in and out lunch. Nothing fancy. They are only open Mon-Fri from 11a to 4p so it is strictly a work day lunch place!
