Serenity is my new favorite spa in Greenwich for sure. The facials are amazing– it rejuvenated my face after a long hard winter. My skin was so soft and brought it back to life. My massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The spa is clean and the staff is extremely professional and accommodating. I’m so glad I found it and I will definitely be back!

I had mixed feelings about this place. The front desk staff could have been more friendly. But my massage was great and I wish I coulda tipped her more but the massage was a bit expensive to start. My masseuse was friendly and attentive and i felt amazing after.

Male reviewer writing. went in for waxing – ears and nose. Technician suggested I do eyebrows and back. Back hair very light. She was very good, and very professional. When I went to pay, I was SHOCKED to be told that the charge was $ 148. The service took 30 minutes. I said I was shocked, and the snotty woman at the desk told me that the back was $ 70, the ears was $ 25, the eyebrows were $ 25, etc. etc. I asked how much a men’s haircut was and she told me $ 65 – a haircut that takes at least as long as 30 minutes and usually longer. I told her I never paid more than $ 70 for the same services and the woman then told me that the rent was higher there then I was used to. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. BUYER BEWARE

Not a big fan of this place. The front desk receptionists seem to be extremely snotty and rude. I’ve gone back a few time because Lily is amazing. She is the only person that dyes my eyelashes without any pain and waxes with no bumps afterwards. If I could steal her away from Serenity I would.
I am a reliable client and good tipper… you’d think the receptionists would see that and be more pleasant. Maybe they’re just sick of handling Greenwich clientele so have their backs up but your whole job centers around catering to people and being pleasant. I really really hate the vibe and would never get a massage here. I’m in/​out as soon as possible so I can work with Lily.

I also had a really difficult time redeeming my living social voucher and getting an appointment when I called earlier this week. They told me that there was only 1 appointment available until ¹¹⁄₁₇ which I thought was really odd, but luckily that 1 appointment worked for me.
My massage experience at Serenity was strange because out of the entire hour, the masseuse probably devoted half the time to my feet. She started the massage off at my feet, massaged my legs, went back to the feet, then did my neck and shoulders, went back to my feet, did my arms, then back to my feet, etc. Also, there wasn’t an equal amount of attention paid to both sides of my body. For example, she would massage my right leg really well, but then quickly massage my left leg and the strokes weren’t the same. While she applied just the right pressure to some places, there were moments during the massage where she would just place her hand on a part of my body and do nothing but leave it there. Additionally, I thought I heard her snap her fingers above my body which I thought was pretty weird. The facility was nice and clean, and while I am glad that I was able to redeem my living social voucher, I do not think I will be returning to Serenity Spa.

They refused to honor the living social deal voucher beyond its expiration even though there are no longer any appt available before ¹¹⁄₁₇ as of today.

I had a haircut there and while there, when styled, it looked fine. But, it was really uneven, as in one side was longer than the other. Also, the two stylists working that day were at odds, and it made for an uncomfortable experience. Then, I hwas given a git coupon from the Living Social site, and they could not fit me in before the expiration date. Living Social was good about issuing a credit though.

The manager there is a woman by the name of Paula and she is the most unprofesssional person that I have ever dealt with. They have lost a TON of business because of her poor attitude. Myself and several friends refuse to go back to avoid dealing with her nasty attitude. One person I know had even filed a complaint against her with the Better Business Bureau.
