Always my first stop when adding something to the garden. Their annuals become the stars of the garden (nothing on Earth beats their field pansies)! Without exception, their perennials always thrive. And their advice. .. priceless!

Having grown up with a back field that was plowed every Spring for a huge vegetable garden, combined with extraordinary flower beds surrounding our home, along with 2 apple trees and a cherry tree, I love plants and flowers. I was chagrined that I did not discover Sam Bridge Nursery until I had been in Greenwich for over 30 years. A delightful place to visit. Some excellent education program for both children and adults.

Timing is everything with floral deliveries. I had been shopping at Sam Bridge nursery as my sole florist for about 25 years. I recently used them to send an arrangement. It was very clear that this had to be delivered the same day. (I repeated myself twice). They assured me that I had called in time for the delivery. The people never received the flowers that day so I followed up with the store. They scheduled it for 2 days later — With no apologies — and unfortunately, that was 2 days too late for the occasion. I spoke to the owner for a good 20 min. I wish he had waived the price for the flowers. They were expensive and missed the event they were intended for.

We had a very nice experience at Sam Bridge in October for pumpkin-​picking. They set up a sweet hayride to the pumpkin patch. They were organized, kind and helpful. We will be back!
