OK. I’ll admit it. I drove by this place a zillion times over the last several years and it scared me. Looked like a local«townie» bar. Expected chicken wire, sawdust floors and maybe a few teeth among multiple patrons. Totally wrong. I first came here almost 2 years ago when I was being taken out for my birthday… but the restaurant that my friends chose happened to be closed unexpectedly. We went to Green Acres(yes…I was reluctant… but nothing else was open in the area besides McDonalds…)…and I couldn’t believe it. Clean, nice/friendly staff and really good food! Typical bar fare but better than average quality. Been there a few times since and I’m never disappointed. Last time I had an awesome salad with grilled chicken — super fresh, crisp salad and hot, grilled(not overly spiced but just right) that was moist and perfectly cooked. Others at the table had burgers, BLT and fries. Fries are delicious. Rave reviews on the sandwiches/burgers. Anyway, don’t let the possibility that it looks like a townie bar next to a gas stop along a traffic circle turn you away. As a good friend of mine says from time to time: «Good Chow».
