I went to see Katie at ultra skin wax on pleasantburg in cherrydale. First time I ever got a Brazilian and Katie made the experience awesome and bearable. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Katie! Also I should add this place was very clean and very friendly!

Warning… this review is very honest.
I decided when I graduated college and actually had money that shaving you know where was going to be a thing of the past. Even as an adult making money, most places in the Greenville area for Brazilians are ridiculously unaffordable. I stumbled across Ultraskin after an outing at Whole Foods right next door, so I thought I would at least stop in and price them out. You cannot beat $ 35 for a Brazilian. I repeat, you cannot beat their prices in this area.
Now, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that this is an all over charming experience. When you’re ripping anything off your body that’s just not the case, but they have kept me coming back for three years now due to their affordability, their great staff, and the speed. I also can’t tell you that you won’t feel exposed in this type of appointment because you will. Just get over it. It’s worth it: silky smooth (as long as you follow post-​care instructions).
As an engineer you are taught: good, fast, cheap– pick two. It is a sure rarity in life that you get all three. My first wax… technician? was Hannah Lynn, but she moved on to eyelash extensions. She left me in the caring hands of Jerrica. The best thing about both of these ladies is the speed in which they do their work. This appointment almost never lasts longer than 15 minutes. Speed is important here because the more you are subjected to it the more painful it gets. Jerrica also lets me babble through the entire appointment to distract myself. She’s great! If you’re going in for your first time, I would definitely recommend her.
I can’t vouch for their other wax services because I don’t really need them, and my rule for my eyebrows is that no one is allowed to touch them but myself. I can say that I have purchased their papaya scrub and their facewash, and their products seem to be of pretty spectacular quality.
I hope I have you convinced to subject yourself to a little pain for beauty!

I am new to the area and saw this place and had to check it out. l really loved it. Super clean, friendly, the lady who did my upper lip and eyebrow was so nice. I will definitely be back. Great place!

This is hard to rate because I feel like the issue is the individual employee who did my wax, Tyanna. She waxed my lip, no problem. Then did my eyebrows. I felt like she was applying a lot of wax, further in than usual, but then thought I was paranoid. When she handed me the mirror, it was immediately obvious my brows were messed up. When I said they were uneven, she acted surprised and said she didn’t see where they were uneven. My right eyebrow is shorter and a different shape than my left! Luckily it was my first (and only) time there, so I didn’t have to pay for the brow wax anyway. I’ve never had my brows messed up like this, and now I have to start a new job Monday being self-​conscious about them.
The positives: the atmosphere is nice, front desk was nice, pricing isn’t bad, and the wax is the kind that doesn’t break my sensitive skin out into a million bumps.

Took my daughter to get her eyebrows waxed. They have been waxed before without problems. Her skin was raw after, but tolerable. By morning it looks like scabs and was burning, so I called to speak to a manager and emailed Jessica pictures of my daughters eyes, and also requested a refund which I think was very little to ask. (So athletes don’t get waxed? We both know this is not normal for an eyebrow wax.
This was her response:
I reviewed the pictures and that is not scabbing of the skin. That is redness that will subside, it looks like your daughter is just sensitive to our hard wax. You also mentioned that your daughter is playing softball and if she went to practice or out in the sun yesterday after getting waxed, that also can cause issues.

I’ve been twice for underarms only and the first time went off without a hitch. The second time the esthetician ripped my skin off! Literally, there was a small bloody tear. It healed fine but I can’t recommend this place to anybody after that. I suspect the wax was too hot, because the esthetician said «I don’t know what happened». I’m grateful that she stopped before doing the other side and didn’t charge me. I love the feeling after you wax, so I’m majorly disappointed.

First time waxing everything in a few years… nervous about the pain. Loved the gal that waxed me. Put me at total ease. It hurt but ya know, it’s waxing. Didn’t love the receptionists-didn’t make me feel too welcome but I will def go back. Nice place. Clean. Make an appointment! Ask for Brandi, she’s great!!!
