My wife and I both had 60 min massages here and they were great! The spa isn’t much to look at and it doesn’t have the high class«spa like» feel which is why I gave it 4 stars. It’s in a very cool part of town. We enjoyed walking around the West End of town. If you want a «resort-like» spa experience this may not be the place for you. If you are just looking for a great massage at a great price then I recommend the Spa at West End.

Booked a Shellac pedicure. When I arrived I was told to go upstairs, but no one was up there to greet me or tell me where to go. A very unfriendly girl asked me what I was doing and then rudely pointed me to the pedicure chairs. I tried to sit but then she grumbled at me to pick a color first but didn’t bother to tell me where they were or what type to pick. I chose a cute color and went back to sit when yet another very unfriendly girl asked me what service I had booked and then indicated I was sitting in the wrong type of chair and wanted me to move(which was apparently my fault even thou no one greeted me or indicated where I may sit). She then told me she would not be using any water or even filing down my nails only painting them and doing a sugar scrub. I was floored as not even the cheep salons refuse to use water or file my your nails and yet I was expected to pay $ 50 for this«treatment». At this point the original rude girl came over to whisper in my techs ear. I was hoping she was indicating how rude and unprofessional my girl was being, but this was not the case. Then my tech yelled out«on never-mind I’m not doing the sugar scrub on you either». I guess I am not good enough to even receive a basic shellac pedicure that would cost half as much any where else so I packed up and left. The owner did call me later that day to get my side of story which I appreciated, however I will never return to this salon!!!

I went there last summer. I was not impressed with their service but their prices were big city prices. I had pedicure and manicure. The technician filed my nails uneven. They did give you a glass of mimosa.

Love this spa! The people here are so nice. I have been going here for 6 months or so — to prepare for my wedding. Lydia does an amazing job on my hair. It’s a great place to go to get your hair and waxing done. I’ll be back for sure and recommend it to my friends.

I’ve been to this spa a couple of times now for mani/pedis, and I always have an enjoyable experience. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is far superior to cheaper nail salons. That said, I understand that their rent or whatever must be atrocious, but prices are a bit high — I spent $ 75 on a basic pedicure and mini manicure(didn’t even get my fingernails painted, in fact). The services themselves were average(I’ve definitely had more involved pedicures for less money at several other nail salons in the Greenville area). You’re paying for the atmosphere, though, and personally I’m okay with that… at least once in a while. Also, I love that they’ll serve you a glass of wine/champagne/Mimosa while you’re getting a pedicure!

As a visitor with little time and a need to get a quick hair removal appointment in before I was back on the road, the staff at Day Spa at West End turned out to be very helpful, and professional. They offered to squeeze me in their schedule within 15 minutes from my call. The service was quality, professional and fairly priced.

Recently visited Spa at West End for a massage. Great location downtown, but that’s where the greatness ended. I agree with the previous review — the trek up the spiral staircase is odd — at best. As was sitting in a robe in a communal area with others waiting to receive their services. Not quite the sense of tranquility I was hoping for. I went in for a deep tissue massage focused on relieving neck/shoulder pain, but the therapist didn’t even touch my shoulders — and only gave me a light neck massage. I did receive a great leg massage, but would have preferred attention be focused on my requested needs. When all was said and done, I’d give the massage a 3 out of 10. Even if it had been a more reasonably priced massage, I probably still wouldn’t return. I’m looking for someone who can really work the muscles — and isn’t afraid to work my problem areas. Could be a different story if you’re looking for a gentle swedish massage, but I’d advise anyone seeking a good massage to look elsewhere.

Not what I was hoping for. The«day spa ambience» is lost on these people, front desk staff was not welcoming, the trek up the spiral staircase does not induce calming feelings, very few waiting room amenities, misbooked my appointment, aestitician tried to do her best but I would have been much happier if she had just recommended me coming back next week and saving my money until the service I requested would have been better performed.
