Pitt Greenville Airport

It’s a very small airport with limited flights. Very clean and easily accessible for pickups and drop offs. Also, it’s not too far from the location I was staying around.

Small and cozy would describe this airport just right.
No one flies out here.
my waiting time was less than 3 min clouding check in, boarding pass, and security check as well.
Leaving a part of my heart here and definitely come back for it.
I would enjoy this trip more

Nice little airport. The new management kicked things up a notch a few years ago and really rebuilt and improved the terminal building. Sadly only USAirways (soon to be American)
fly out of here currently. Hopefully they can attract another airline. Airfares will be hit or miss pricewise. Flights only go to Charlotte and are usually full so not many bargain fare. Book early. Cheap parking and right in the city. No driving to Raleigh!

This airport is so small that taxis don’t bother to come by. Me and two other travelers from the midnight flight were stranded looking for a ride. One of the guys had called and reserved a taxi a week or so ago but they’d bailed on him. He calls and yells at them and they promise they’ll be right there. Then the customer watches as the taxi drives past the terminal without stopping and continues on back out to the street.
It’s 12:30AM and it’s 40 degrees outside. It’s now official, we’re in trouble.
An airport employee who’s trying to lock up the airport sees three pathetic, ride-​less travelers and volunteers to help us out. So he pulls around in his own car, loads us and all our luggage inside and drives each of us to our separate destinations. I was shocked. And immensely grateful.

This is a tough one to review. Saying that this is a tiny airport is the understatement of the century. Because it’s so small, it’s rather depressing when you pull up. Really not much more to say about it, as there’s REALLY not much to it!

Super small airport. Never seen anything like it. No food options other than a vending machine. But absolutely no wait for anything. I believe there is one plane there at a time. Also, this place is hospital clean. I felt bad walking on the floors.

It’s an adorable little airport with just 2 gates. They don’t open security until near boarding time. The security guy was so friendly and SantaClaus like.
The furniture is clean and new. Sockets are everywhere. I wish all airports were like this.

I have flown in and out of the Pitt Greenville airport once. For a small airport, and it is small, it is quite nice.
You can park and walk right in to the airport, either returning a rental or otherwise. Security is relatively quick and painless. There are only so many people flying out of here after all!
The building itself is new, clean, and has a wide variety of comfortable furniture at the gate. Heck, they had chairs with USB ports.
While I did not experience any problems here, I assume the usual cautions apply for small airports. If something happens, you will wait a long time for the next flight because they have so few. I’m sure they could get overwhelmed at times because the people will come in bursts instead of a steady flow throughout the day.
However, if you have to travel to the area for business, it looks like a much better option than driving from the next closest airport and spending your time on the road instead of sitting in a comfortable lounge.
