Overton’s flat sucks! last August I purchased a universal boat cover in preparation for the winter months. When I tried to install the cover it was not as represented and did not fit a 16′ ft hull. It was more like a 15′. When I contacted Overton’s customer service I was told that i was out of time for returns, However Brooke stated that they would make an exception if I agreed to pay a 20% restocking fee… My reply was… Really you sell a product that is not as expressed in your advertisement and want me to pay you to take it back. This is certainly misrepresentation and in my opinion is Fraud. Needless to say I will take my custom to a reputable source

BUYERBEWARE I have a home in Long Island and enjoy laying by the pool on weekends. I had ordered a FACE2FACE pool float made by Solstice. I received the first float last year but never had a chance to use it. This past June, I unwrapped the new float and filled up both valves using a professional air compressor. By the time I put the float in the pool the float started to leak around the outside. I called Overton’s and waited over 46 minutes on hold for customer service. I finally hung up and called back and pressed #1 to talk to a sales agent. They picked up right away! When I told them of the issue they had to pass me to a manager who took care right away and advised to cut both valves 7×11 and mail them back using the FedEx Sticker. They sent a replacement raft. Yesterday I took the replacement raft out and was excited to use the float for my company this weekend here in the Hamptons. While filling the raft I noticed a glue spot patch. The funny thing is the patch was for the middle of the face2fa e raft not the side. I called Overton’s frustrated and the nightmare began. I spoke to the order department since no one picks up in customer service and they connected me to customer service where I stayed on hold for 38 minutes! Overton’s who is owned by Gander Mountain Sport needs to remember who supports their stores and Internet business. I will definitely look else where before purchasing anything again from Overton’s due to my experience that they are buying seconds at a ridiculous low cost and mark the item to $ 54.00 so they can profit. I strongly suggest looking else where before buying from this company especially if you need to talk to their customer service. All I can say is the return sticker is in the mail!

Place is a joke. Bought some captains chairs for my boat. One broke. Had warranty but they wanted me to ship it back to them for inspection. The freight was $ 250 to ship back! Ridiculous. I could of just taken pics of the damage but they insisted to ship the chair back. Never getting my business again. Be aware…

Beware if you’re buying a boat cover. I got a boat cover in 2012(3 year warranty) I had to have Overton send me new straps in 2013 because they broke. Well last night during a wind storm more straps broke(again) this time causing the cover to rip. So instead of replacing the cover they are wanting to prorate me a new cover. Unacceptable!!!
