Marabella Old World Pizza

Terrible customer service. I live less than 7 minutes away and each time I order delivery it takes a full hour for my order to arrive. That’s ridiculous, why not spend the extra money and hire more drivers especially on busy weekend days?
The pizza is usually good though; my favorite ingredient has got to be their smoked mozzarella. There was one occasion that my pizza arrived and the crust (bottom of the pizza) was completely burnt. I mean inedible. I called and complained and received a much better pizza, after waiting another hour. I guess they hadn’t cleaned their oven for a long time.
I recommend they improve their delivery times and all should be good. Until then, I probably won’t be ordering from them for a while.

If you want an accurate order, you’re likely to be disappointed. Twice within three days, staff where I work was treated by ordering from Marabella’s. The first time, I ordered their Mediterranean salad with the specific request to hold the feta. The salad arrived – with feta. The second time I ordered pasta marinara – no meat, no cheese. When the food was delivered, my pasta marinara was covered with cheese. I don’t eat cheese. I couldn’t eat this meal.
How difficult is it to boil some noodles, ladle some marinara sauce on it, and do no more?

Disappointed! Use to be one of the best pizza and Italian places in town. Went today for lunch and the tables were dirty/​sticky there was water on the floor and the overall condition of the restaurant was just dirty. The waitress had this I don’t care attitude. The food was just ok when it il use to be the best in town. Just disappointed they have gone down hill.

Buy a frozen pizza so it is better for your wallet! Poor service and they weren’t too happy when I complained. Barely any toppings and the temperature was off on my pizza and appetizers. Chanello’s on Charles Blvd was WAY better and it is a shame they closed.

This is by the best pizza ive had in greenville by far. The cheese is the x factor, it just flat out tastes better than most of the pizza restaurant’s in town. All of the ingredients seem to be fresh and of higher quality than others. I my self am a deep dish fan, but this is a great fall back. The only negative comment I have is that the pizza was delivered a little cold.

I ordered a «grandma’s pizza» and it had very little pepperoni or mushrooms on it. I also ordered extra sauce, which was good. The cheese barely covered the whole pizza, though. Taste was ok, but not as good as when I ate at this establishment.

I really hate how good the pizza is here because the service is terribly inconsistent. My wife and I have been getting pizza here (or their Greenville Blvd location) for about three years. It’s no question that this is the best tasting pizza in town but incomes at a price. On way more than half a dozen instances we have toppings forgotten, the wrong type if pizza made, excessive waits, and burned pizza that had to be remade. It’s a bit of a love hate relationship. I genuinely enjoy the pizza but I always hesitate going because I know I could end up being really hungry or disappointed because of the wait or messed up order. One things for sure. I never walk out if their without checking my pizza first.

Meh. Maybe they were having a bad night in the kitchen or something. I’ve heard such wonderful things about this place, so I decided to order delivery. The amazing thing about this place is there is no delivery fee! Yay!
When I placed my order, I was told it would be an hour (I live about 7 mins from this place, so I was thinking less, but hey, if it’s amazing, that’s ok). Almost an hour and a half later the pizza guy came with my Grandma’s pizza. He was friendly and the pizza was huge (I’ll post a pic).
The crust was awesome, but the sauce was way too thick and I ended up having to scrape a lot of it off. I thought the flavor of it was a little off too. It wasn’t too good, but better than Papa Johns. I’m hoping I just caught them on an off night. I’m going to try them again, but just order something different.

Ok well I had very high hopes for pizza like I’m used to. I’ve been very spoiled with Jersey pizza. and this was, well not Jersey pizza for sure. Ever have Mack n Mangos on the boardwalk in Ocean City NJ!
Nuff said.
The garlic knots were YUM, and I liked the crust of Grandmas Pizza, but the sauce was sweet??? Almost as crazy as seeing someone at work who put salt in her coffee.
I will probably buy here again, because I’m pretty sure this is the best pizza in town.
But I’ll go back to Jersey for some Mikes Pizza in Woodstown NJ for the Best pizza!

Just spent an hour waiting for four slices of pizza and a salad. Turns out they had been out of salad for 30 minutes and my pizza was sitting in the box waiting in a warmer. I realize that the other restaurant just burned down and they may be overworked and understaffed, but this kind of service is atrocious. I’m sure I will have to eat here again because it’s my wife’s favorite pizza and she’s pregnant, but I will not do so on my own volition.
