The food in consistently good. The service is good. BBQ is great, sides are generally good. Great selection of beer, and my wife is a HUGE fan of their wine pour. Happy hour is great. Can be crowded during nice weather but well worth it.

Cool place, good prices, great wings. Nice atmosphere and great service. outside deck was packed on a Sunny January day. Hope to come back here for more on another visit to Greenville.

The food here is good — wide variety and fresh ingredients!
The issue is the poor service. Staff seems to be very unorganized and due to fact the lunch crowd fills up so fast, this establishment cannot keep up with seating.
This was my second time here and will probably not be back!!!

This is my other half and I’s favorite local hangout. Best BBQ! And great variety! My sig other doesn’t like Mexican but I can get my queso fix here. Makes for two very happy customers!

After attending the Craft Beer Fest in Greenville we meandered in here for a late lunch and I am SO glad we did! Since moving to the area I have wanted good BBQ and Mac’s delivered! We ordered the pork skins to start and for my meal I got the pulled pork and it was heavenly!!! Even thou it was busy our server was on top of it and kept our drinks filled and made sure we had what we needed. I can’t not wait to go back and try something else!!!

My husband LOVES the wings at Mac’s — they’re smoked and fall off the bone. The wings are probably the best we’ve had in Greenville!
We visit quite regularly and are always satisfied. The beer list is extensive, and I always try something new!
I’ve had many of the food items from the menu, but I think my favorite is the «Veggie Plate» with 3 or 4 side dishes. The mac ‘n cheese and baked beans are fantastic! I’ve also had the onion rings, chili, cheddar grits, green bean casserole, and creamed corn! If you’re looking for variety (and aren’t super into meat) it’s delicious and filling!
Mac’s is also a great place to come watch sports games. Plenty of TVs and great variety of games on!

Spent the afternoon for college football, we had a GREAT TIME! Atmosphere was fun and lively, huge selection of beer, food was delicious. We had the 4+2, meaning 4 choices of meat and 2 choices for sides. Of the meats we picked, the beer can chicken and ribs stood out… SO GOOD. The baked beans and collards tasted even better than home made. Staff was friendly and diligent. Will def go back the next time we are in Greenville!

Went just for beers. Excellent, comprehensive beer list with a TON available on draft. We sat outside and the music was at just the right level: a little «rock on» but easy to have a conversation over.
I wish the smoking area was further away. We were the closest table to it and the smell bothered me when there were several people smoking.
Overall great place. We plan to go back to try the BBQ!

Great food as always & they are Fido friendly! We got a perfect spot out in the patio with the pups. In if the best pulled pork you can get & they know how to do sweet potato fries just right. Service is pretty good too.

The HOG wings were incredible

Came across this place after adventuring around the downtown area and walking around the baseball stadium of «shoeless Joe Jackson. The service was good and attentive and our food came out within reasonable time.
I like the ambiance as its lively and poppin’ and cooler of beers as their selection pretty much was endless and taps as well.
I would recommend this place to anyone at the baseball game or wants to be in a biker community-​in a good way.

Excellent. We went before the ballgame on Sat. and even though they were very busy, the service and the food were both top notch. The shrimp taco is unusual and very tasty, and their wings are grilled, fat, and fabulous! Will definitely be back to try the BBQ.

This place was really good. I was craving a really good burger while my husband wanted wings. We both enjoyed our meal. The burger was huge 10 pounces of beef that is not pressed during the cooking process. The prices were very competitive and they offer outdoor seating. The atmosphere is very laid back and the server was super friendly.

One of my favorite places. The salads are awesome. The wings are grilled and the sauces are tasty. The Mac and cheese is one of the best I have eaten out.

I really enjoy this location downtown next to the stadium, especially since they have all the outdoor seating and we can bring the dog. The food is always above par, although a little pricey for their best dishes. I tend to stick to the Brisket Taco, which is consistently awesome. The beer selection is one of the best in the city, featuring a couple hundred different beers, so you will not be left wanting… The staff is generally very friendly and I haven’t ever had a bad experience. The atmosphere is a bit loud at times, but what do you expect from a self-​proclaimed «biker roadhouse.» Overall great attitudes, great food, and GREAT beer.

Great Food, Great Beer Selection, Poor Service.
I came here with my girlfriend right before a Drive game to catch some of the good food I have heard about and the great beer selection. We had 30 minutes before the game started, got sat by the hostess and looked over the menu. Restaurant was busy, but had plenty of tables open. After 10 minutes, no one had come by to take our order and I went back to the hostesses to let them know. 5 minutes later, the waitress finally shows up and apologized profusely blaming the hostesses. They were a little ditzy, so we finally get to order. Another 10 minutes goes by and we finally get our beers. Our food comes about 5 minutes later, for those of you playing at home, the drive game has just started and we are finally eating our food. Again, the food was good, I had the Route 66 burger and my date had the Cuban pork sandwich, both were awesome. The waitress did a great job of trying to make up for making us late and taking care of us after the initial mix up.
So, I recommend the place for the food and booze, but make sure the hostesses and waitresses take care of you, because it apparently isn’t a given that they will.

20 min and still no drink? Manager said they are just busy and he is sorry. I’ll be sure to take that sorry to refund the $ 5.25 beer I’m still waiting for. In all fairness the manager just earned my business with a kind gesture. It’s not perfect but at least they own it.

Bar none the best wings I’ve ever had. So good I had to ask how they make them. Chris the manager came over and told us the whole process, marinated and then smoked 12 hours, then finished on the grill. The buffalo wings are the way to go! Hot and super flavorful. Our server Nicole had a great personality (and not bad on the eyes) and gave us great service. If you are in the mood for a great IPA and some amazing wings this place is unbeatable.

The more BBQ I eat in the South, the more I place Mac’s in the average corner. However, Mac’s excels by providing more than just BBQ. It offers a great sports bar atmosphere and lots of alcohol, meaning you can come here and drink/​hang out and also eat BBQ, which makes this place different.
Located across from the minor league ballpark this place gets busy and rightfully so. Again, awesome sports bar atmosphere. The BBQ is similar to Sticky Fingers, maybe just a notch below. If you’ve been to Pompous Pig or Smokin Pig in Anderson, they are way better. The BBQ here tends to be a tad dry, but I’m being very critical. This place is still awesome and great for a night out with friends, before or after a game or just to hang out.

I lived in Charlotte when Mac’s first opened, and worked a block away, so I went to the original very often. I loved the place, from service to food. I was excited upon hearing about a Greenville location, and despite reading the reviews, was hoping for the best.
The biggest complaint from reviewers was service, and I will agree with these reviewers 100%. Our service sucked. Royally. She got our drink orders wrong, couldn’t tell me about the sauces and acted like it was an issue I asked, didn’t bring us silverware our napkins (and we had wings at the table), and was just overall not attentive at all. Really sad. I was hoping the reviews were wrong or had been cleaned up.
Food was lukewarm. «Pork wing» was dry and flavorless. Ribs were barely warm and so over-​sauced, you still couldn’t hide the fact they just weren’t good. The beer-​can chicken was mediocre at best. The brisket was as good as I remembered it I’m Charlotte, thankfully. Mac and cheese was very tasty.
Overall, would I be back? Nope. Not at all. Very sad, I was rooting for these guys. This is what expanding and stretching yourself out too far looks like. Or franchising.
