Labels Designer Consignments

Great place to buy but be wary about consigning. I left multiple items to consign. After the requisite time period for consigning expired, I emailed the store to pick up and was told they wanted to keep the items a bit longer and would email me when to come pick them up. Another two months passed and I stopped by to inquire as to what was going on. They found two items and returned them, but the other (a Zac Posen dress) was «missing.» The woman at the check out made sure to make me feel that this was my fault for not coming up sooner. I showed her the emails about leaving the items. I asked for a call from the owner or manager to look into it more and never received one. Definitely will not be taking any future items to sell there.

Well, must say, if you want to be offended go to Labels. Not only did they look down at my mother-​in-​law, but they insulted her by saying they «aren’t fashionable enough». I know for a fact that all the things that were placed in her car were impeccably taken care of and «stylish». What do they expect?
I understand if perhaps some of the stuff didn’t fit into her business model, but a more eloquent way of decline should have been in order. Perhaps something along the lines of «This is nice and very well taken care of, but we’re not accepting such items at this time». Declining product is one thing, insulting is another.
I guess it should have been expected, typical Augusta Road.

I love this place!!! Top of the line lables like Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Armani, etc. and I always find something for a great price. This is my favorite consignment shop in Greenville. A real gem!

If you need it, Labels has it… and for a reasonable price!
No, this is not your average second hand clothing store. This is a DESIGNER consignment boutique. My friend and style guru extraordinaire, Bentley DeGarmo (OWNER!), knows what her savvy clientele wants — and she really delivers! I am always impressed with her ever-​changing inventory of designer clothing and accessories which arrive every day. Each item that comes through the door is thoroughly screened by Bentley herself, so whatever you see on the sales floor has been specifically approved. In other words, you are guaranteed to look good in whatever you decide to buy! You won’t see outdated or ragtag clothes here: fashions from Dolce & Gabbana, Theory, Louis Vuitton, Diane Von Furstenburg, Tory Burch, and Gucci are just a few of the designer labels she carries. I also want to mention that over a quarter of these styles have never even been worn and some arrive for inspection complete with tags. Talk about a steal! What more could a shopper ask for?!
I haven’t made a trip to Labels yet without buying something. I really don’t think it’s possible to leave such an incredible store empty handed; there are just too many gorgeous clothes, shoes, purses, scarves… you name it! Wow. I think I’ll have to stop in this week to snag some of those new arrivals for spring!
