AT&T U-verse

Slowest Internet. Telephone service is least flexible and goes up in price after some unknown time. Of all providers I suggest you check out Vonage or Ooma. Picture quality (what they consider to be HD is not even close to Charter) is awful especially if you have spent money on a large flat screen TV. The worst thing about AT&T is their service. Trying to get answers is very frustrating, tremendously time consuming. (I have had several 2+ hour sessions). They often do not do what they say they will do. Billing is totally screwed up and impossible to understand. AFTER OVER A YEAR OF PUNISHMENT, I cancelled my service and ended up with a $ 300 dollar credit, which they ultimately reduced to $ 200. I think their reasons were totally bogus. Now after agreeing on their $ 200 number it is going into the third month that even though they acknowledge the credit that I can not get a refund check. This is not how a responsible US corporation conducts business. They are in fact borrowing this money from me at 0% interest. If you have any dealings with them document everything — — time, date, and name of the party, AND THE DIVISION WHERE THEY WORK. My sincere advice — Run the other way! I wish there was a 0stars option.
