Having returned my product, I would like to update this review.
AC Moore was extremely friendly about the return. I expected the return to be a hassle – but the return was easy. I received a cash refund. All of the employees were kind. They were not skeptical of the return and were very apologetic about the error.
AC Moore contacted me within 30 minutes of my original review to discuss the problems with my custom matting order. I would like to say that this error seems to be the responsibility of an individual and does representative of the entire company.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
This store is a hobby shop similar to Michael’s. It is just as overpriced and those 40% signs are designed to make you think that you are getting a great deal. I noticed that even with the sale price, the items were still overpriced. Don’t be fooled! Before you shop these types of stores, make sure that you check the discount stores like Ross first. They will often carry the same seasonal items, (metal art and décor), but at half the price. You just have to look and purchase early because these items are rare and sell out fast. Many of the basic items here can be purchased at Walmart for less.
Still, this is a store that has a lot of the items that crafters and those who like to creatively decorate need and want. Whatever your hobby, you will probably find something to «scratch that itch» at this store.
Also, if you like doing your seasonal shopping early, now is the time. The Halloween and fall décor is now in stock!
