Sorry, it was terrible. Where to begin?! Ok first, my waitress had VERY long hair that was not tied back. Very unprofessional. Then, I overheard her telling a customer that two breweries were from the WRONG area. It’s not hard to be knowledgeable about your beer selection when they are all local breweries! But this customer was satisfied with the incorrect information he was given. Also, I walked in with a baby in a carseat and the waitress asked if I would like to put a high chair upside down to set my car seat in? No thanks! As unsafe as that sounds, I’ll pass. Hmm what next. Ok so I asked for a beer sample, and she gave me the full glass and walked away, not stopping back at my table for well over 20 minutes! During this time I did venture to the restroom where the entire door was laying sideways where it had been ripped out of the wall! I must say the food was tolerable, I got a salad n didn’t even eat a quarter of it because of the size and the fact it was completely soaked in dressing. When I got my check, the full size beer was on there. The beer I asked for a sample of was $ 6 and I was charged $ 7 for a completely different beer. The beer was surprisingly warm as well but the cold glass chilled it a little bit. Oh and one more thing. I asked for an item that I have gotten every other time I have been there and this waitress looked like she’d never heard this request before in her life and simply told me that they couldn’t do that. So thank you, miss Jennifer S. from Greensburg, you may need to be educated a little more in regard to your beer selection, your menu options, and how to properly seat a baby :) Thank you.

The kids loved their pasta and cheeseburger. I ordered the Shipwreck Burger with the aioli on the side. My husband ordered the veggie burger with no aoili. Both burgers had the aoili on them and were beyond extremely salty. The meat was the only thing good about my burger… and the only thing I ate. I can’t even come close to describing how salty BOTH burgers were.

I was taken here by a friend for my birthday. It was horrible! We ordered the buffalo chicken dip, it was the consistency of canned cat food and it didn’t taste much better. I found a hair in the dip as well. The kitchen staff can be seen from the front so I was even able to identify which one of the lovely young cooks it had came from. You can plainly see them using improper food handling technique and neglecting to wash their hands. The fries with bacon and beer cheese were good but had an oddly sweet after taste. The atmosphere has a definite hipster vibe but the service was terrible. I knew this even before I found the hair in my food. When we entered our server motioned to us and seated us without say a word. It was awkward and uncomfortable as if they didn’t want patrons. The poor service continued through the evening. After I raised my concern about the hair in my food, they offered to replace the dip. When I refused, they left it on the tab and I didn’t even receive an apology. I will never be back!

Wasnt what i thought it would be. The food was ok, I had wings they weren’t fresh the were frozen breaded wings with BQ sauce I guess I expected fresh wings. For two people to eat lunch at 40. I would not go back. The place was dirty men’s bathroom stunk like an outhouse and it just looks dirty all around. Don’t think I will be back.

Nice atmosphere. I tried the boomer pizza and didn’t like it at all. Not for everyone I guess

Food here is great… Service is great… Why go somewhere else? We built our own burgers & they were cooked perfectly… Wife’s was well done & mine was medium & seasoned well… Waitresses were knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant… The OMG Mac & Cheese was great… The Peroghi’s were great… The Cajun Fries we’re great… Couldn’t eat them all… Unlike other places, we’re not leaving here hungry…

I usually do takeout for places I’ve never tried just so I can taste the food first and then maybe go back for table service. When I first walked in the place was rather dark. There wasn’t anyone at the hostess stand so someone at the bar awkwardly greeted me. I told them I wanted to take out and he handed me a menu and let me sit at the bar. I went to a couple of stores in the strip mall that Wingharts is located and when I came back, the food was ready. I ordered two shipwrecks. They don’t come with any sides but the burger is so big I could only eat half and was full. This burger is not elegant by any means. While the truffle aioli is food, there is just way too much of it carelessly slathered on. There was also too much bacon. The theme here is too much. They have a similar burger at burgatory called the meat your maker but they use wagyu beef which makes it very tasty. Here the beef tastes frozen. I guess I learned my lesson to stick to burgatory.

I thought this was a dive bar which just proves that it’s not a good idea to judge books by their cover. This place has pretty fancy cuisine, actually. I was told the beer cheese fries were a can’t-miss item(but I think they are miss-able, imo – I’d actually recommend trying one of the other more unique seasonings because beer cheese is beer cheese. pretty standard) and I also had the shipwreck burger(per website: my dear friend shipwreck has a very sophisticated palate. so, to please those super taste buds, we have created a burger that even the french would say is good. arugula, brie cheese, white truffle aioli, caramelized onions, and bacon.) Good, but not AMAZING as far as burgers go. We also got the funnel cake because I had a coupon for a free one and who doesn’t love free, amirite? You can get it with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar OR half and half which is what we did. Yummy, but also pretty standard. I got a whiskey sour as well, which I enjoyed. Very authentic and not just whiskey + sweet/sour mix. they actually put the egg white into the drink. I didn’t try any of their other drinks but I may be so inclined if I ever make it back to this place. There are a lot of good options here, I might not have picked the spectacular menu items this visit, but am definitely hoping to give it another go!

I had the falafel patty(vegetarian burger) with classic vegetable toppings and white truffle aioli; it was VERY good. Also, my table split the whiskey mac and cheese and we were all extremely pleased with this spin on a boring but classic appetizer. I guess it’s a «bit» pricey($ 10.00 for a burger) because you don’t get a side with your burger, but I didn’t mind because the food was well crafted which made it worth it; also, the burger was large enough that I wasn’t left wanting more food. You get what you pay for; the ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. I guess for the heavy weights that want the most bites for your buck, you should probably choose McDonald’s…

I have been at wingharts several times, and always had a pleasant time. You can get a plain-Jane burger, or one of their signature burgers. The prices are definitely fair, bartenders are awesome, and being Pittsburgh owned is a plus as well.

If it weren’t for the waitresses ignorant attitude I would have given more stars. This is a smaller atmosphere and there appeared to be only 2 empty tables. There were two of us dining for lunch. She wanted to seat us right next to the door. It was 35 degrees out today and they had the doors open. So we asked to sit on the bar side. She was reluctant but walked over sat menus on the table and left. Never speaking another word. We looked over the menu. 12 minutes later she came to take our drink order. 18 minutes after our drink she came to take our food order. We order 2 burgers one beef and one chicken, and truffle fries. Then we waited 28 minutes until our food arrived. Never once did she check to see how our food was(it was fantastic but, she never checked) we were done eating with our plates ready to be obviously taken and an additional 20 minute wait to get our check. I would eat the food again. I wouldn’t tolerate the attitude from this waitress though. I’m on blood thinners for life so sitting next to an open door while we waited that insane amount of time would have pissed me off more than I already was because I would have froze.

My first and only visit. Nothing was particularly good, everything was stupid expensive. Poorly lit so the whole place looked grimy. Very uncomfortable seating. Not likely to return.

Stopped in yesterday for lunch. My son wanted a burger and I couldn’t bring myself to hit up McDonald’s. Found this spot accidentally and walked on in. It’s a neat little spot with a variety area and some regular seating. The waitress was very friendly throughout our visit. I was curious about a few of their burgers since many of them were very bizarre but delicious sounding. I settled on The Nad-alie. It arrived sitting in a bowl with au jus soaking the bottom part of the bun. The bun was rather unimpressive and plain looking but honestly tasted pretty good. The burger had caramelized onions and pierogies on top. It was an interesting blend of flavors but I instantly wished I had ordered something else. I also got a side of Mojo Fries since my 10.00 burger came with no sides or garnish. The seasoning on the fries was way too plentiful and made them so salty I barely had any of my almost 4.00 side. The waitress even commented about how much seasoning was on them when I mentioned how salty they were. I’d probably go here for drinks some night because I really enjoyed the music and I’d love to study the menu a bit more. However the next time a burger craving hits there are other spots that, while pricier, will better satisfy my craving.

After traveling from Washington DC to visit my daughter she chose This as our dinner destination. Since she lives in the area I figured what the heck lets do this. Severely understaffed. this is what I first noticed. ok it happens. The menu is VERY overpriced for the area. $ 12 for a burger with no fries a chip maybe. how about a pickle? Pizza was soggy. the burger I chose with the pierogi was unmanageable to eat and lacked flavor and the pierogi was burnt on the bottom. The funnel cake was a good but the lackluster service and the general lack of attention after the food was dropped could not go unnoticed. Advice.you have to staff up to make sure that your guests needs are met. If your going to have your price point be in the«polished casual» ballpark. your service needs to be just as much of a focus as the food. both need quite a bit of work.

I’ve been back to Winghart’s for a few more visits, and the burgers have been cooked perfectly each time, so I’m upgrading to four stars. Ordering one of the pre-designed burgers is definitely the way to go; I can vouch for the Market Square Burger(smothered in delicious honey mustard) as well as the Jefferson’s Repeal, which comes with crispy onions, a sweet BBQ-like sauce and yummy whiskey cheese. I’m still annoyed that the burgers don’t come with a side, but on the other hand, now that I realize the side is huge and share-able, it’s not so bad. If you want to truly provide your arteries with a challenge, the beer cheese and bacon fry bread(yes you read that right) is surprisingly delicious, but definitely meant to be shared. Service has been great on every visit, ranging from a late weeknight dinner to an enthusiastic birthday party crowd. They have a great selection of beer, as well as mixed drinks. They’re under new management, and the new manager is a very knowledgable bartender. On one visit, we struck up a conversation that evolved into him making the best caiprainha I’ve ever had– so I’m expecting the drink menu and drink quality to continue improving. I am now very impressed with Winghart’s– don’t let the small town strip mart location fool you.

I’ve been here about 5 times so far, and I’ll continue to go back. A bit pricy, but you’re getting good food. Never get an order of fries for yourself; you can split an order with someone else at the table. The burgers are all pretty tasty in my opinion. They are big and messy, so be prepared. They seem to have a decent beer selection, too. It’s easy to forget about this place, because it’s hidden back behind the mall; but if you enjoy places like Oliver’s Pourhouse, Pepperwood, Red Robin — all places where you can find a decent burger — you’ll enjoy Winghart’s.

Go to their location in Monroeville, much better inside and out. This location has an attitude of «I can do whatever I want«. The manager was eating subway at a table when we went in for lunch… ah ok. and the bartender was less then thrilled to be there. Their happy hour specials are good and the funnel cakes are de licious! From my past experiences, just drive the extra 15 min to Monroeville lol

Great local and national beers, delicious fresh food, and great service. What’s not to like? I stopped here for drinks and a snack prior to a buddy’s wedding. I’m glad I swung through becuase this place was wonderful. Service was top notch. Our server was super friendly and helpful, with just the right attitude to make the whole experience fun. I told her the basic kind of bears I liked and she gave me perfect recommendations. I only had the wings since I needed just a quick snack – these wings were awesome. However, I inquired about the full menu and I found out that they use fresh ingredients and they try to make as much in-house as possible. Granted they aren’t grinding corn for the chips or what have you, but it’s not like they are opening a can of wing sauce either. I happened to try a couple of my friend’s truffle fries, and I was quite pleased with those too. Overall, I plan to stop at this place for a larger meal the next time I stroll through.
