Peles Salon Greensburg

Far and above the best salon in the area! I’ve been getting my hair cut here since this salon opened. I used to drive all the way to their salon in Johnstown because I’d heard of the amazing cut, color and styling jobs done by the stylists. When they finally opened in Greensburg, I was elated and their Greensburg salon is now the only salon I will go to.
Every time I go to this salon, I am impressed; from the attention to detail, focus on customer satisfaction, and perfectionist approach in giving me the exact cut I want every time keeps me coming back and continues to make me a very satisfied customer.
In terms of cost– for the quality and style of the cut and/​or color, the rates are fair, especially for professionally trained stylists, who, in my opinion, are the best in the area.
As for depth regarding what the stylists can do – every time I go, I want something different. I’ve had them cut my (nearly to the hip) hair into a bob, I’ve had a balayage done (similar to an ombré — which I’ve also had done). I’ve had them trim my hair, sometimes I even go in for a repair treatment and blow out. Before finding Peles Salon, I used to be very conservative with my hair and my willingness to do anything with it. I used to be that way because I didn’t trust the people cutting my hair — after finding this place, and hearing the expert opinions provided from the stylists, I was willing to have a little more fun with my hair. Either way, no matter what I am going in for, they can do it. From the simple trims to the intense coloring — simply put, they are the only people I trust to touch my hair.
Finally, the stylists are cool, they know what is on trend and in style, and give you honest advice regarding what looks they think will look good on you (which I have enormous respect for — no one wants an agreeable stylist who just does what is asked and then it turns out to be a disaster — i’d much rather have their opinions because i’m not the stylist or expert, they are). The salon is stylish, too, which I LOVE. It can’t be beat. If you haven’t given this place a try, then you really need to check it out. I highly recommended it with a soaring 5 star review!

I live in Washington, D.C. And I travel to Peles Salon to get my hair done every 6 weeks. The salon is easy to get to, and has ample parking. Once inside, you are greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful, clean salon.
Now, on to the important part, the hair services. I cannot say enough about the quality of product (Aveda) used and the amazing cut and style I receive. Jesse, my stylist, takes time, and puts a lot of effort into my hair. He also makes sure, that it is a style I can maintain on my own, and shows me how properly style it. My hair is left, silky and shiny. It has never looked so good.
As a final word, I cannot tell you the amount of compliments I get on my hair. I am asked over and over where I get my hair done. All of my DC friends want to plan a field trip to Peles! I am lucky to have found Peles Salon.

I got my hair done by the lovely Ronni Davis and i love it! I went in with a picture of what I wanted and she made it even better than I could of thought. She spent almost three hours on my hair and it turned out awesome. The location is easy to find, very clean and has a very nice staff. The prices are reasonable and the color lasted a long time. I’ve been to many hair stylists and switched a lot, but I will be sticking with Ronni at Peles. :)

Beautiful salon! The staff is super courteous & knowledgable. I especially love that they exclusively use AVEDA products! My hair always looks fabulous when I leave.
