Papa John’s Pizza

Terrible service from this store on numerous occasions. Typically I prefer Papa Johns over their competitors but this location has consistently delivered bad service. We had a snow storm on the 22^nd. After running errands all day on the 23^rd, we wanted to order a pizza after clearing the 3″ of snow off our driveway. We placed an order for 2 pizzas and an appetizer and waited. I called about a half hour later because I couldn’t find the confirmation email. The person on the phone I spoke to seemed really surprised to hear from me stating that they would be canceling my order. I asked why, and was told that it was because of the snow storm and the unsafe conditions. As I had been running errands all day, I knew the roads were for the most part clear, so I asked him what radius around the store they were currently delivering to. He told me that it was up to the driver if «they feel like delivering to a certain area». After hanging up, I placed an order with a competitor located 7 miles away (versus the 3 miles to Papa Johns) and had a pizza delivered within the hour. I submitted a complaint on Papa John’s website, and received a phone call from a manager the next day. She was rude and condescending and stated that by me attempting to have a pizza delivered to my place was putting her drivers at risk. I strongly recommend that you give your business to any of the other pizza chains in the area.

Poor & slow service. Workers got a poor attitude that needs to change or get fired. Location website online differs from what location offers. I could get pizza delivered from Irwin quicker than take out in Greensburg. Been waiting for 42 minutes and STILL waiting.

I get zero creativity points for reviewing a Papa John’s. Papa John’s is what it is: adequate pizza delivered at a reasonable price with good accuracy.
My pizza came in the early part of the delivery window, and the guy was very friendly. Nothing about my order was spectacular, but nothing was bad, either. I asked for half pepperoni/​mushroom and half Canadian bacon/​pineapple, and they got it right, along with my extra sauces. I had an online special of 20% off. After living in Denver for a few years, it was confusing to not have multiple references to Papa Peyton Manning during the order process.
I’m sure there’s better pizza options in Greensburg, especially when you’re up for leaving the house, but on rainy nights when you just want to stay in sweatpants, Papa John’s isn’t a bad pick.
