Shady place. Selling beer that is not marked with a visible price. $ 20.00 for a 6-​pack is insane! Don’t go here, even if the Stromboli is average.

I drove by Johnny L’s for months and never stopped in for some reason, but finally tried one of their sandwiches a few weeks ago when a friend graciously brought me one while I was stuck studying. I had the Philly cheesesteak with all the toppings– steak, onions, mushrooms, peppers, and provolone, as well as lettuce and tomato. I still haven’t made it to the east side of PA so I can’t vouch for authenticity, but it absolutely hit the spot and was a steal at under $ 6.
I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu (supposedly the best fish sandwich in town) as well as the six-​pack shop.

Great Fish Sandwich and a good Beer selection. Come for the fish and leave with a few craft beers. If you come on a Friday during lent it may be a bit of a Madhouse, but worth the mess.

The food is okay but the cold six pack beer selection is better! The employees are all very nice and it’s a great place to stop and grab some cold beer before heading home.
Food gets a 2 star but I’ll stretch that and go with 3 stars for cold beer fast!
