A Rollin Good Time!
Ahh to be a kid again… well you can be at Skateland USA! Roller Skating is exactly what it used to be 15 years ago — YMCA, the Chicken Dance, Teens in Love, a Nacho Stand, perpetual Bday Shout outs… I LOVE IT!
It was a blast from the past and I am glad that roller skating rinks have not changed one bit. And so cheap! In this day and age it’s so hard to find good wholesome fun for a good price. It was $ 6 per person for admission and skate rentals for 3 hours.
We went during the afternoon time slot and it was fairly crowded. It was a lot more fun to skate when certain groups got called off the floor to attend birthday party festivities. Perhaps night skating would have less birthday parties… I don’t know… but I’m sure I’ll be going back again to find out.
