Decent sub’s at a good price. The drinks are a little expensive for the size but it’s fine. Mom’s and Pops resteraubrs usually are.

I just ordered from Rico’s Subs and Tacos @ 8:15PMEST. I hope I have a better experience than everyone else did. I like the menu variety. Let’s see what they are good at. I hope my delivery is quick and the food is fresh and yummy. Customer Service on the phone shoud have been nicer. Thank goodness I had my order ready to place and was able to do it quickly. The had a different phone number than the actual number. I had to look up the # myself. You cannot order online trhough that number they provide. It is not a working #. You need to call 447‑3646. So far, it’s typical in my book. The did not offer to upsell me to a side salad or dessert.(Both of which I would have opted for) I’ll let you know how the food is once it gets here.

I have been somewhat pleased with this restaurant in the past, which says a lot due to being in the restaurant industry for 5+ years. The food is decent, nothing to die for, but good for a quick bite for lunch. The last time I was in I was given a coupon for $ 5 off your first online order. So naturally, I tried to order online. The website did not work correctly. I called Rico’s to get some help, or at the least, advice. The employee passed me on to the manager who was one of the rudest people I have spoken to an a long time. I don’t know about you, but in this economy – you do what you can to keep your customers happy and returning. When I said I would no longer be ordering from him, he did not mind at all. I guess when you’re busy at the moment you think your business is going to keep booming, but we all know how that can change. Take your chances with this place, just don’t have high hopes.

There is nothing at all outstanding about the food here, in fact, most is pretty ordinary to just bad. They offer a rather strange mixture of items and cuisines: subs, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, gyros, spaghetti, lasagna, and a number of salad choices. This variety would seem to be a culinary challenge — and one that they are not very successful in pulling off. The Philly Cheese Steak is a pretty good sandwich — meaty, with flavor — but pricey at $ 8.19 with extra cheese and peppers — show me the peppers! The Jumbo Cheeseburger is also decent in taste, but it is large, not Jumbo, and the cheese and lettuce are miserly — would be a good value at $ 5.49 with a side of FF, except the FF are terrible. The Mexican items I tried — Beef Tacos & a Beef and Bean Burrito — were just awful, especially the Burrito. The tortilla was stale and tough, and the content was bitter. The tacos may have been decent had there been enough meat and cheese to taste, but that’s was a moot point. The Spaghetti with Meatballs($ 7.99) was another dish best forgotten, I know I will eventually. The Italian & Cheese Sub($ 6.69) was under flavored, and over-priced. Now the Gyro($ 5.49) — not only is this not a good version of this sandwich, this place is definitely not one of the only places to get a gyro– start with Mythos, about 200 yards away, and move on from there. First visit, last visit. Much better food around, and very nearby.
