PTI has definite pros and cons.
Pros: newly remodeled and the perfect size with a few restaurants, shops, and bars to kill time in. It’s not crowded and clearing security is almost always a breeze. Close to parking. Just a «very easy» airport.
Cons: poor flight selection. Very few direct flights. Usually much more expensive than Raleigh or Charlotte.
PTI would be a fantastic airport with a value airline to make the fares competitive.
