What a great little ice cream shop! My husband and I have been several times and always left smiling! The owner has always been working when we go and he couldn’t be any nicer! The only draw back is that parking could get a little tricky if it gets busy and seating inside is very limited but the flavor choice never disappoints! This is a must try if you are a big ice cream lover!

This is the reason why you should use Unilocal, and review on Unilocal! You would probably never see Ozzie’s, even though it’s right off of busy Battleground, because it’s kind of on a side street not directly facing Battleground. But man is it so good! We were heading to a movie, decided we needed ice cream before going, and used Unilocal to help find this little gem! It’s small inside, not a ton of different flavors, but definitely very good and creamy ice cream! There was nobody there when we arrived which had me worried about the coming experience. The owner, which is a full time educator, greeted us at the door and couldn’t have been nicer! The favorite flavor of the night was Brownie Batter! When the weather is nicer, there’s a ton of outdoor seating in a very cute ice cream parlor kinda way! This southern gentleman hopes the best for Ozzie’s that it can survive the«yogurt fad»!

We went for the first time tonight and will definitely return. Not only is their selection wide and delicious, the owner and his son were warm and friendly. We even got to let our dog enjoy ice cream along with us in their cozy outdoor eating area. Support local!

Oh man what a gem! It’s right off Battleground across from Village Tavern & it’s just perfect. It’s locally owned & operated by this really nice guy who actually did work in Uganda. I always like to support the local man and this is no exception. I may be a little partial b/c I’m a huge Black Sabbath fan, but Ozzie’s has nothing to do w/Ozzy Osbourne. It’s named after a sweet old lady– & you’ll have to go by & buy some ice cream to find out the rest of the story. It’s a great spot! Go support this local business. ;^}~

I’ve been here five times so far this summer and I bring people back with me because this place is so adorable and I have to share it. They serve Hershey’s ice cream now, and I personally think it’s much better than the Blue Bell they use to sell, which I thought was flavorless. The employees are young and friendly and provide generous samples – so many flavor options. I love the Capaiccino Crunch, the White House Cherry and the Coconut Almond Chocolate – one generous scoop is 3.00, double that and it’s 4.00, add .75 for a homemade delicious waffle cone. They have sundaes – 5.00 and floats – 4.75. Sit outside under an umbrella and play checkers or tic tac toe on the picnic tables. Bring the dog – there’s doggie cream and a water bowl. So friendly here, no one’s left out. They’ll get five stars from me, and I’ll blow them a kiss if they make the inside seating area as cozy and cute as the outside – it wouldn’t take much.

We stopped by today on our way to the BarkPark. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I LOVED my cappuccino crunch ice cream cone and we even got doggie ice creams to go for our pups waiting in the car. We will definitely be back :)
