Every once in a blue moon I get a craving for steak biscuit from Mrs. Winners instead of Bojangles. Their biscuits are fluffy and tall and much bigger than most places. They steak has a nice amount of black pepper seasoning, which I really like. Their thick, coated steak fries are nice big hunks of potato that you can really taste the flavor of the potato instead of the oil it was cooked with.
Not that impressed with the chicken because I like the spicy Cajun style of Bo and Popeyes, but it’s solid Southern style crispy fried chicken and their prices are reasonable. The fried okra is about the only good side besides the steak fries. Mashed potatoes and mac & cheese are awful pre-​made mix things.

The chicken is awesome! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get that fried chicken fix! Also, the women working here were really friendly and inviting. I would come back here (not all the time as no one needs to eat friend chicken a lot).

I haven’t had Mrs Winners fried chicken in many years, it’s ok for fast food chicken, but nothing to get excited about. Same goes for their breakfast biscuits, they are pretty decent, but nothing over the top.
The one thing I do like to stop at Mrs. Winners for every now and then is their Cinnamon Swirl cinnamon bun and a big ol’ cup of coffee to go with it. The Cinnamon Swirl is a nice sized pillow of buttery cinnamony goodness topped with a super sweet white icing glaze. This little jewel with a big cup of Joe is a great way to brighten up any morning.
