I came for my scheduled appointment & waited for 30 minutes. I finally decided to leave because with this being my 1st experience receiving a massage I was a very irritated. I’ve recently had back pain which is why I was going to be patient & wait but by the time I left they still weren’t ready for me so not only did I have to waste my time & gas(it’s 20 minutes away from where I live) but I had to go back home in pain. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would.

Fantastic and friendly service here. Prices are great if you are using your monthly package. You can even combine a couple months worth and upgrade your experience with extra time or upgraded massages like hot stone. Very happy with my membership here.

I am a huge fan of Hand & Stone. I wasn’t sure if I would really use the monthly massage, but I do, and am very glad that I signed up for the monthly massage program. For $ 50, it’s a bargain for having a wonderful pampered experience to reduce stress and muscle tension. I love my masseuse Jennifer, she’s so wonderful, and always applies the right amount of pressure for me. I’ve tried the«hot stone» massage, but find it just ok, I’m just not a fan of the«hot stone» style. Aromatherapy is a nice indulgence, on particularly stressful days. I’ve also had a facial, with an Aesthetician, also named Jennifer and found it invigorating. I’ve lived in different states and 3 different countries, and having traveled the world all over, it doesn’t get better than this in terms of service and price. Obviously everyone’s experience will depend on the masseuse they get. I went through 3 different masseuse therapists before finding Jennifer, and while they were all ok, having found Jennifer, it was like finding heaven. I especially love the fact that when I don’t get to use my month’s visit, it just gets added to future visits, so I never waste a massage. #ProTip: 1. Book early, especially during the holidays 2. Make sure you get the text message reminders. I love getting these reminders the day before my massage, so I never forget my appointments.

Honestly do not waste your money, they like to take money from people. I received a massage that was not great at all I tried to instruct the masseuse on what I wanted and she definitely was not understanding. I received a facial as well that I actually enjoyed, but my face broke out later that day. When I went to check out they tried to charge me for double the introductory rate, because of miscommunication from their staff. I absolutely HATED my experience, I will never go back or put any money in their pocket. My massage and facial were both ruined because I was so stressed about how much I was charged.

I am so thankful there are people in this world who enjoy giving massages because I definitely enjoy receiving them. I’ve been to Hand and Stone several times and I have not been disappointed. Today I saw Erika for an eighty minute relaxation massage and she was excellent. I would recommend that you either join their monthly club or wait for when they run their special pricing otherwise they are a bit pricey.

Thomas Sprull is AMAZING!!! He gives the best massages I have ever had. He takes his time and doesn’t rub the same spot over and over. He works through tension and knots thoroughly. I arrived feeling stressed and tense and I left feeling relaxed and calm. I give Thomas FIVE stars! If you have any type of muscle pain or tension, Thomas will work on it until it goes away regardless of the time. He cators to your body and to your needs.

Surprised and sorry to see some negative reviews! Lee is one of the best Estheticians in Greensboro! I always look forward to my facials with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about skincare, but totally unpretentious. She suggests certain products for specific skin issues, but I never feel like she’s pushing a product on me just to meet a sales goal. She does a really good job with extractions, my face is never swollen afterward. I know it can be hard to find a Massage Therapist who is the right fit, but I have had wonderful massages from Jessica, Rhonda, and Jacob there and would recommend them to anyone. Give Hand and Stone a chance!

Worst bikini waxing that I ever had. I chose a deluxe bikini wax because they say that it was more waxing than a regular bikini wax. They barely did it. Plus they try to push me a membership saying that I could try a month for free. After reading the contract, I realized that I was stuck with it(one month in advance to cancel). Horrible !!!

Updated 6÷17÷16: I went back to Hand & Stone recently and my experience was much better than 3 ½ years ago. The bed was heated, the masseuse did a much better job and was attentive to my requests. I asked for a deep tissue massage and it was pretty good. I am used to a deep tissue massage being much deeper & even a little painful, leaving the spa with a lot of my issues taken care of. I would call their«deep tissue» a «deep tissue light.» The Diet Coke version. It felt good while it was happening but no lasting effects. This location is beautiful, clean and peaceful.

I booked a massage for my mom and my sister. My sister therapist was great! One the other hand, my mom requested a male therapist but ended up with a female one(Jamie) without our consent. When asked then receptionist about the situation, she was so clueless and did not do anything to help the problem. I was beyond disappointed in the unprofessional and lack of knowledge staff. Due to the lack of communication among the staff, my mom was stuck with Jamie. Jamie was very unpleasant with my mom and rushed through the whole process. My sister went in 10 minutes first and came out 15 minutes after my mom. If I would have known before hand, I would have just canceled the appointment. This place is where unprofessionalism at its best.

I Went in to buy a gift certificate The receptionist, who was on the phone, made no effort to say one moment or acknowledge my presence. After keeping me waiting for 10 minutes or more, she didn’t give me honest information about pricing. Then asked if she could help the next person while I made a quick phonecall to find out if the time I made the appointment for was ok with the gift recipient. Then she kept me waiting another 15 minutes. She never said, sorry for the wait, or anything a good customer service rep would do. I got such a bad vibe from her I ended up canceling the appointment. If the«face of the business» is rude, I can only imagine what the rest of the employees are like. I went to Balance Day Spa instead and was treated like a paying customer should be treated – with respect and consideration.

I have been going here monthly for about a year. My usual masseuse was unavailable so they put me with Thomas. At first I was hesitant because I usually prefer a female, but this was the best massage I ever had. I will definitely request him every time! SN, don’t leave a message, call back.

The level of professionalism of the staff is disappointing. I left a message yesterday(Tuesday) during the day, asking for an appointment for my wife. More than 24 hours later, I never heard back. I called again, and stated that I’d requested an appointment for a specific treatment, day, and time for her, and requested a confirming call, but had heard nothing from the spa. I expected the attendant to either confirm the appointment or apologize for not returning the call. Neither happened. All I got was«uh huh,» even after I paused, expecting some intelligent or gracious response. I asked, «Is the appointment on the schedule?» Answer: no. Again, no apology or acknowledgement that they screwed up. So in sum, two problems: first, failing to schedule appointments and return calls is no way to run a business. Second, the staff doesn’t care. I secured the appointment(I hope!). I hope my wife enjoys the place more than I do.
