D & R’s Restaurant

I love this place. The food is like home cooking and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is clean and roomy. I especially like the fried chicken. The deserts are out of this world but sometimes there is no room for them because the meals are so large. Mmmm good

Plenty of seating. Comfort food. Brings me back to my Moms cooking. The portions are big and fresh. Great staff. Friendly. clean!

Fantastic burgers and excellent service.

Great local eatery! Freshly prepared, home cooked meals that can accommodate patrons with special dietary needs. Very reasonably priced for «empty nesters» who eat out multiple times per week. The liver & onions is incredibly good, this coming from a gal who has never been a fan, but has been instructed by her doctors to eat organ meats… eek. D&R’s makes this an easy enough accomplishment, and I do not have to put up with the lingering smell in my own kitchen… that is a win/​win in my book;-) The country fried steak is good, as are the homemade hamburgers [Monday’s Special for $ 5.99 that includes fries and coleslaw]. Breakfast is very good as well, excellent cream chipped beef, and a bargain 2−2−2, served until 0900, which includes 2 hotcakes, 2 eggs, and 2 bacon strips, plus coffee for $ 5.55.
Give these folks a try, it is the best restaurant to inhabit this location in many years — I wish them much success! Oh, I should not forget to praise the staff… they are a lovely bunch of ladies, friendly and attentive. The kitchen staff also pitches in to help out front when they get busy, the place has always appeared clean and kept, in all — a welcoming dining destination!

Nice local place to grab some home cooked meals. They have homemade burgers which are amazing and I had a cheesesteak last week that was really good. I hate when the cheesesteak meat is greasy and running off the sandwich. This place cooks the meat perfect and there was no grease whatsover. My kids want to hit up taco Tuesday but we just haven’t done it yet.
