I’m updating my earlier review. I had a much better experience with this Brueggers this am. Everything was clean, the employees were hustling and helpful and my bagel/coffee were delicious!

I absolutely love this place. The bagels are incredible and so is the cream cheese! There are so many delicious options. The chai tea here is great as well. I’ve never had bad service at this location

Bruegger’s Bagels has great bagels. If the service were better, this would definitely be a 5 star place for bagels, but no matter which Bruegger’s Bagel shop we go to, they seem to have a problem with their staff being incredibly slow and not altogether welcoming depending on the location you are at. Still, the bagels are delicious, and the sandwich combinations that can be created with them are great. Now if only the service were better. I think the big issue with Bruegger’s Bagels is the fact that when you place your order, you stand at the counter waiting on the counter help to make your bagel. While standing there, it does seem to take forever, and you can watch every step they are taking(or not taking), in the incredibly slow process of creating bagel sandwiches that shouldn’t take that long to make… if the employees were trained efficiently. I’m the kind of person though that hates to complain about service, without offering my opinion on what could be done to eradicate the problem. The thing is, if Bruegger’s Bagels company policy would change in how they have things set up, and how the bagel sandwiches were made, I really think they would have the best, top rated sandwich shops around for bagels. First off, I think they should have the orders taken at one end of the counter like they do, but then offer the customer a buzzer(like many restaurants do), that would alert the customer as to when the sandwich/lunch order is ready to be picked up at the counter. Then, the customer could simply place their order, and then go sit down after paying for their order, have a soda, and wait patiently at their table. This would avoid the long lines that inevitably happen while everyone is waiting on their orders at the counter. Simple changes could really help enhance the entire experience at Bruegger’s Bagels, and I really wish the company as a whole would consider updates in how they handle their daily operations, because as I mentioned, the bagels are really delicious. We actually prefer just picking up a dozen bagels and taking them to go, rather than wait in line for any possible bagel sandwich order. Aside from all of that, this location is really nice inside and out. They have some outdoor seating available, and although it is a smaller location, the bagels are great, and several of the employees are very friendly. Parking is located in the private shopping center lot for the Friendly Center.

I LOVE smoked salmon, cream cheese, onions & capers on a bagel, and Bruegger’s has this sandwich option on its menu which makes me very happy. The people who work here have always been friendly when I’ve stopped in, and they are usually pretty speedy. They have a small number of tables available if you want to eat in, but I usually just grab a bagel sandwich to go.

5 stars because they were out of salt bagels when I came, but then they made one special just for me! And then gave me and my girlfriend free coffee while we waited. Win

I have watched this location go downhill for a while now. On my latest visit I noticed a 92 health score… no thank you.

I hate to give this place two stars because like another reviewer stated Brueggers is a solid bagel chain. I have been a loyal customer to other locations, rtp area, but the two times I have visited this location my bagel that has been toasted hasn’t been warm at all. I am still curious about how something can be toasted but then given to me cold. To top things off both times they have been stingy with the cream cheese. I wish there was a way for them to measure how much cream cheese they put on the bagels which could then be consistent at all locations. Anyways, the bagels are decent and they have lots of flavors of cream cheese and bagels. My favorite is a toasted rosemary olive oil bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese whem it is made properly. Will I be back? Unfortunately, yes but I will have to pay attention to them making my bagel.

The Brueggar’s chain is a solid bagel chain fills that niche between mass produced, quickly served bagels and those quintessential NY hand twisted mom and pops. They even boil their bagels which more than most chains. Besides the usual choices(plain, everything, onion, etc) you’ll find some unique choices such as rosemary-olive oil and pumpernickel. Bagels are served as is with various cream cheese flavors or as the base for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The approximately 20 different schmears also come in some interesting flavors such as bacon-scallion and jalapeño. Unfortunately, the eggs used used for breakfast are those prefab types, not freshly cooked. Muffin, soups and salads are also available. There are at least 4 or 5 coffee choices and every year they offer a $ 99 endless mug deal that would pay for itself quickly if this was your daily morning coffee shop. I’ve been here many times and the staff has always been friendly, fast and efficient. This location has both free, fast Wi-Fi and a larger than normal, well let dining area.

Starbucks like atmosphere, clean and bright. Best bagels in the area and a decent place to scoop free wi-fi. Weds. bagels are $ 5.99/doz.
